A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Hill was a son of Albert Hill of Atlanta and the late Margie Hill. He was a construction worker and a member of Thankful Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Greater Level Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. C.S. Stevens and Samuel Duggan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Mary Hill; a son, Dennis Burdette, Crawfordville; a daughter, Samekia Burdette, Crawfordville; a sister, Dorothy Edwards of North Carolina; and three brothers, Robert Hill, Athens, Larry Hill of North Carolina, and Roger Hill of Tignall. Jonathan Dean Gainesville Jonathan Dean, 23, died Friday, Sept. 6, 1996. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Dean was a son of William B. Dean of Gainesville and the late Nancy Stewart Dean. He was a 1991 graduate of Habersham Central High School, and was enrolled at Gainesville College. He was a member of Eagle Scout Troop 24 and a member of First Baptist Church, Cornelia. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Cornelia. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens. A native of Greenville, S.C., Mr. Matthews was a son of the late Pink and Alice Hogan Matthews. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Savage officiating. Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of DeKalb County, Mr. Gower was a son of Guy and Lori Ann Gower.
