A native of Kansas, Mr. Colville was a banker. A graduate of Rollins College and a member of the college's Board of Trustees, he was a veteran of the Naval Reserves and a member of Winter Park Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home in Winter Park, Fla. Survivors include two sons, Richard Colville, Casselberry, Fla., and David Colville, Athens; and two grandchildren. Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Nettie Greene Winterville Nettie Greene, 89, of 196 William Strong Lane died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996. A native of Greene County, Mrs. Greene was a daughter of the late Melvin and Naomi Greene. She was a member of New Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mack & Payne Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. R.L. Trammell officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Elnora Strong, Winterville, and Dorene Jones, Cincinnati; two sons, Melvin Greene, Los Angeles, and Virgil " June" Greene, Cincinnati; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Leslie Oglesby Danielsville Leslie E. Oglesby, 74, of Route 2, Box 2460, died Monday, Oct. 7, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mr. Oglesby was a son of the late McMullan and Ina Adams Oglesby. He worked for International Harvester Co. and was a retired real estate broker. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Ila Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Lavonia, with Dr. Reuben Marlowe officiating. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Sewell Oglesby; a son, Leslie " Chip" Oglesby Jr.; a daughter, Linda Oglesby Hentz, Fort Oglethorpe; a brother, Mac Oglesby, Hartwell; three sisters, Doris Oglesby, Athens, Alice Rogers, Columbia, S.C., and Ann Bowers, Paragould, Ark.; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Box 3624, Durham, N.C. 27710. Rubye Bray Lexington Rubye Haynes Bray, 77, of Route 2, Box 2058, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Bray was a daughter of the late Joe Self and Molly Elizabeth Johnson Haynes and the widow of Chandler W. Bray. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Bray and Kenneth Bray. She was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sandy Cross Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry James and Edgar Raines officiating. Burial will be in the Bray family cemetery. A lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, Miss Burt was a daughter of the late Marvin A. Sr. and Hazel Lance Burt. She was a member of Glade Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Glade Methodist Church with the Revs. Dan Fernandez and David Burt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a sister, Mary Helen Appling, Carlton; two brothers, Marvin Burt Jr., Carlton, and Eddie Burt, Auburn; and nieces and nephews. Rosalie Mattox Bowman Rosalie Wheelis Mattox, 85, of 276 Hendricks St. died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Mattox was a daughter of the late Charlie H. and Sallie Mae Hill Wheelis and the widow of James Mattox. She was preceded in death by two brothers, the Revs. Thomas H. Wheelis and Clifford H. Wheelis, and a grandson, Andy Mattox. She was retired from Elberton Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Stinchcomb United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Elberton, with the Revs. Bobby Anthony and Sammy Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Elberton. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Rogers was a daughter of the late Henry and Nettie Wheeles McCannon and the widow of William Henry Rogers. She was a retired office clerk with Sears and a member of Meadow Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Meadow Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include a son, Charles M. Veal, Comer; two brothers, H.K. Barry Stowers Anderson, S.C. Barry Glenn Stowers, 33, of 1737 Belton St. died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mr. Stowers was a son of Jewell Stowers of Hartwell and Wallace Stowers of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Richmond officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Spring Cemetery.
