Hughes Elberton Bennie Frank Hughes, of 1300 Mineral Spring Road, Sunny Brooks Apartments, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1996. He was a son of the late Benjamin Frank and Georgia Bell Hunter Hughes. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fortson Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Jones and James Allen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Survivors include his common-law wife, Mary Henderson; two sons, Bennie G. Hughes and Terry Hughes, both of Elberton; two sisters, Ellen Heard and Imogene Allen, both of Elberton; a brother, Thomas Hughes, Elberton; five stepchildren; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Oslen Huff, Glenn Moon, Dexter Rucker, James Gaines, Matthew Langston and Edmond Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be Neil Huff, Anthony Edmond, Barry Henderson, Barry Perrin, Patrick Huff, Stanley Walton, Vester Heard and Perry Beamon. Phelps Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ruby D. Brown ATLANTA - Ruby Dalton Brown, formerly of Athens, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1996.
