Echols Philomath Winona Franklin Echols, 79, of Route 1, Box 1193-F, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Echols was a daughter of the late J.B. and Evie Seymour Franklin. She was the widow of Ben Thomas Echols. She was a homemaker and a member of County Line Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at County Line Baptist Church with the Revs. Russell Bruce and Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Marian Chow, Philomath; five sisters, Orie Bennett, Stone Mountain, Irene Christy, East Point, Betty Hammond, Mineral Bluff, Valeria Fortson, Greenwood, S.C., and Cynthia Armour, Washington; and two grandchildren. Bryant Elberton Joyce Wheatley Bryant, 63, of 503 Shelton Ave. died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of the late Leonard and Clara Bell Kelley Wheatley. She was owner of Bryant Monument Co. & Accounting Services, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Berry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Stuart Bryant, Dunwoody, Randy Bryant, Athens, and Rodney Bryant and Greg Bryant, both of Elberton; two brothers, Clarence Allen Wheatley and Boyce Wheatley, both of Dewey Rose; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne House, Cecil Bond, Garland Burton, Howard Bray, Leon Saxon and Roy Lee Pless. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Southern Drive Country Music Band. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Shaw was a daughter of Mary Lowe of Hull and the late W.M. Lowe. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Wallace Winder Pauline Mary Wallace, 75, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Wallace was a daughter of the late Rufus and Emma Skinner Dunagan and widow of Weldon Wallace. She was retired from Barrow Manufacturing and was a member of Center Methodist Church. Robert H. Bolick Commerce Robert Hase Bolick, 84, of Route 4, Box 285, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Bolick was a son of the late S.R. and Sarah Ashe Bolick. He was a retired textile worker and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Rogers Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rogers Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Peters officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Ingram Bolick; two daughters, Betty Miller and Evelyn Dixon, Bessemer City, N.C.; two sons, Douglas Bolick, Custer, Wash., and Charles Richard Bolick, Matthews, N.C.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Benjamin Rivers officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. A native of Union County, Mr. Thomason was a son of the late John and Mary Gooch Thomason. He was the widower of Laura Dorsey Thomason, and was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Thomason. He was retired from Carwood Manufacturing, and was a member of Mount Airy Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carter-Stewart Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Frank Woods Lilburn W. Frank Woods, 71, of 4871 Valley Dale Drive died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996. A native of Upson County, Mr. Woods was a son of the late Jeff and Agnes Bishop Woods. He was a security guard and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was of a Baptist. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wise-Connolly Funeral Home chapel with the Rev.
