Arthur Madison Lucille Annie Adams Arthur, 86, of 373 E. Washington St. died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Arthur was a daughter of the late Amboruse P. Adams and Mary Ella Davis and the widow of Leslie H. Arthur. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Ross officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include two sons, Ernest Edward Arthur, Oxford, and William C. "Billy" Arthur, Madison; a brother, Coy E. Adams, Royston; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. William A. Bonner Buckhead William A. Bonner, 67, of 1500 Bonner Lane died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996. A native of Morgan County, Mr. Bonner was a son of the late Lewis G. Bonner and Iris Marie Alford. He was a retired school bus driver and owner of Bonner's Restaurant in Buckhead. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Buckhead Baptist Church with the Revs. Don Malcom and David Lemons officiating. Burial will be in Buckhead City Cemetery. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Stowers was a daughter of the late Clark and Sallie Hall Beasley and the widow of Bill Stowers. She was preceded in death by a son, Horace Edward Stowers. She was the owner and operator of Nancy Hart Supply Store. She was a member of Bio Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School class and W.M.U. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the church with the Rev. Sam Gray officiating. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Favors was a son of Dollie Favors of Athens and the late Elmer Favors. Sara H. Lance Washington Sara Houston Bell Lance, 81, of 1116 Lundburg Road died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996. A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Lance was a daughter of the late James C. and Ellen Huff Bell and widow of Boyce P. Lance Sr. She was named the 1978 Georgia Mother of the Year. She was a homemaker and was involved in newspaper work. She was a member of Cliffords Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Eash was a bookkeeper and retired from the Hope Haven School for the Mentally Retarded. She was a member of the Professional Business Women's Association, Ladies of the Moose and First Baptist Church of Union Point.
