Tolbert Athens L.W. Tolbert, 68, of 264 Roquemore Road, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1996. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Tolbert was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He worked for Patton Bros. for several years before opening his own repair shop. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bernstein Chapel, with the Rev. Crist Camden officiating. Survivors include his wife, Pat Tolbert, Athens; two sons, Larry and Greg Tolbert, both of Athens; a daughter, Sherry Minish, Houston; a brother, M.A. Tolbert, Athens; a half brother, W.R. Dixon, Athens; a sister, Sara Gee, Pendergrass; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Danny Price, Johnny Nixon, Gene Nixon, Harold Ford, Roy Gee, Jr., and Waymen Hollis. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bernstein Funeral home. Elizabeth Snodgrass Winterville Elizabeth Henson Snodgrass, 81, of Route 3, Box 456, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996. A native of Barrow County, she was a daughter of the late Jeff and Addie Donaldson Henson. She had lived in the Athens area for the last 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at Chapelwood Methodist Church, with the Rev. Peggy Little officiating. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Gilbert, Winterville; one son, Vernon Snodgrass, Winterville; two sisters, Nell Thompson, Winder, and Jeanette Hardigree, Hartwell; a brother, Jeff Henson, Athens; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Cain was a son of the late Lewis and Bertha Smith Cain. A retired truck driver with Merico Inc., he was a veteran of the Korean War. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Arthur Bo- wick's Oconee Chapel, Watkinsville. Interment will be in Ross Chapel Baptist Cemetery. 'Pete' Moore Sr. Dewy Rose Walter Clifton "Pete" Moore Sr., 82, of 2662 Nickville Road died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mr. Moore was a son of the late J.C. and Lillie Gray Moore. He was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Elberton. Mattie Jane Bobo Burden, 91, of 6601 Chesler Ave., died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Burden was a daughter of the late Henry and Nora Clark Bobo. She was retired from Hartwell Mills, where she was a cloth inspector. She was the wife of the late Sidney J. Burden. She was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Loyd Lovern officiating. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Survivors include four sons, Owen T. Burden, Anderson, S.C., James C. Burden, Jacksonville, Fla., S. Gerald Burden, Waycross, and Stephen T.
