A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Duckett was a daughter of the late John Oliver and Georgia Vandiver Oliver. She was the widow of the late Guy C. Duckett. She was a homemaker and member of Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Alton Duckett. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Dr. A.D. Beacham Jr. and the Revs. Raymond Carr and Tim Marriner officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Springs City Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Clara Gin of Royston; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Pruitte Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Clara Ginn, 221 Smith St., Royston. Comus R. Johnson Calhoun Falls, S.C. Comus Rice Johnson, 84, of 522 N. Calhoun St. died Sunday, September 15, 1996. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Johnson was a son of the late Allen Andrew and Minnie Lee Jones Johnson. He was the widower of Roberta Hutchison Johnson. He was retired from the textile industry and attended North Side Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church in Lowndesville, S.C., with the Rev. Lawrence Johnson officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lois White of Calhoun Falls; a son, George Albert Johnson of Iva, S.C.; a sister, Clara Ruth Johnson Rosser of Elberton; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family is at 522 N. Calhoun St. and will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Berry Funeral Home. Bonnie Isbell Baldwin Bonnie Isbell, 74, of King Street died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996. A native of Franklin, Mrs. Isbell was a daughter of the late William Jasper and Maude Savage Garner. She was the widow of the late Gene Isbell. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Baldwin Cong. Holiness Church with the Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Kirk was a daughter of the late John H. and Margaret Rogers Forrester. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Roberts Jefferson Edris Louise Armstrong 'Nanny' Roberts, 69, of 1022 Jett Roberts Road died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996. A native of Jefferson, Mrs. Roberts was a daughter of the late Nathan Armstrong and Dora Hogeland Armstrong Shelnutt. She was the owner and operator of Nanny's Day Care and a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a nursery supervisor for Faith Baptist Church and a major supporter of Jefferson City schools and all of their activities. Mrs. Roberts touched the lives of over 500 'Nanny's Kids.' Funeral services will be today at 4:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Revs. Gerald Mitton and Carl Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Ralph R. Roberts of Jefferson; two daughters, Barbara R. Duke and Karen R. Hemphill, both of Jefferson; two sons, Freddie G. Roberts of Gillsville and Jeffrey W. Roberts of Jefferson; a sister, Marie A. Lewis Daniel Mount Airy Lewis Daniel, 70, of Blair Road died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Daniel was the son of the late Roy and Sena Loudermilk Daniel. He was a retired supervisor at Clarkesville Mill and a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Whitfield Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Phillips and Elder Marvin Loudermilk officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
