McKee Jackson, Wyo. Mary Elizabeth Ayers McKee, 77, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996. A native of Elberton, Mrs. McKee was a daughter of the late John Henry and Leila Mae Sanders Ayers. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Jo McKee Horigan, and two sisters, Josie Bell A. Goss and Alice A. Norman Scoggins. She was a member of the Board of Nursing for the state of Wyoming. She retired as director of nursing at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Wyo. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Jackson, Wyo. Survivors include her husband, Paul W. McKee; a daughter, Mary Ellen McKee, Jackson; a son, William John McKee, Harwood, Md.; three sisters, Mazell A. Almond, Lois A. Ruff and Sara A. Stratton, all of Elberton; and a granddaughter. Julia C. Williams Lavonia Julia Chappelear Williams, 80, of 34 Vickery St. died Saturday, Nov. 16, 1996. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late B.F. and Ollie Franks Chappelear and the widow of Henry David Williams. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Festus and Frank Chappelear, and a sister, Louise Chappelear. She was a housing authority director and a member of Lavonia Chamber of Commerce, Piedmont Arts and Crafts and Lavonia First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Lavonia City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Bielski officiating. Survivors include three sons, David Williams, Dunwoody, James Williams, Anderson, S.C., and Douglas Williams, La Fayette; a daughter, Mary Lane Craven, Roswell; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family is at the residence and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Weldon Funeral Home. Linda S. Marcus Belton, S.C. Linda Scarboro Marcus, 47, of 738 Blake Dairy Road died Friday, Nov. 15. A native of Anderson County, S.C., Mrs. Marcus was a daughter of Dorothy May Scardorough Scarboro of Pendleton, S.C., and the late R.E. Scarboro. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, Hartwell, with the Revs. Dale Phillips and Donnie Bell officiating. A native of Barrow County, Mr. Duncan was a son of Omie Duncan of Winder and the late Roy Duncan. He was the director of Talbot County Department of Family & Children Services. He was a member of Manchester Kiwanis Club, Georgia County Welfare Directors Association and Bethara Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home Memory Chapel, Winder, with the Rev. Marvin Coffee officiating. Burial will be in Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
