A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of the late William R. and Mary Elizabeth Burt Hammond. She was a homemaker and a member of Young Harris United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young Harris United Methodist Church with Dr. Dan Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a son, William H. Anderson Jr., Atlanta; a daughter, Melanie Jane Williams, Clermont; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Bernstein Funeral Home. Mr. Stevens was a native of Madison County. He was the widower of Jamie Sue Stevens. He was a retired textile worker and a member of Fairplay Baptist Church, Hull. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fairplay Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Clark officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Carnesville, Mrs. Andrews was a daughter of the late John Franklin and Myrt Wood Ayers. She was a teacher in the Franklin, Banks and Stephens school systems for 38 years.
