A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Jackson was a son of the late Harry and Blonnie Chambers Jackson. He was the widower of Emily Atria Jackson. He was an Army veteran who served in the Philippines and New Guyana. He worked for the Clarke County school system as a landscaper and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bernstein Chapel, with the Rev. Jon Appleton officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Richard N. Tully, Patchogue, N.Y., and James B. Tully, Bayport, N.Y.; a daughter, Carol J. McClatchey, Atlanta; four sisters, Hazel Nixon, Sara Bridges, Louise Ayers and Helen Burgess, all of Athens; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mable McMillan Athens Mable Louise McMillan, 62, of 145 Brookwood Drive died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Miss McMillan was a daughter of Nina Yarborough Johnson and the late T.R. Johnson Sr. She was a widow of Charles E. McMillan. She was a retired emergency admissions clerk for Athens Regional Medical Center and was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Herb Owen officiating. Katharine Freeze Winder Katharine Freeze, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996, at Barrow Medical Center. Horace Reed Danielsville Horace Reed, 67, of Route 2, Box 2085, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996. A native of Banks County, Mr. Reed was a son of the late Ed and Cora Veal Reed. He was a cattle and poultry farmer, an Army veteran of the Korean War, an honorary member of Danielsville VFW Post 8377 and was of the Baptist faith. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Lum and Heppie Beard Evans. She was the widow of Omer L. "Jack" Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.
