A native of Elbert County, Mr. Fortson was a son of the late Robert and Elnora Mattox Fortson and the widower of Veatrice Mattox Fortson. He was a World War II veteran and was retired from work in the granite industry. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Chester officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Heights Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Raymond B. Fortson, Atlanta, Terry S. Fortson, Baltimore, and Edward E. A native of Akron, Ohio, Mr. Hossler was a son of the late Newton E. and Laura Childs Hossler. He was an architectural draftsman. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Madison Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Chuck Hasty officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
