A native of Jackson County, Mr. Edge was a son of the late Bartow and Catherine Edge. He was the widower of Lucille F. Edge. He was a retired corrections officer and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at New Pentecost United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brad Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Larry Edge, Winder; two daughters, Sally Poehlam, Dalton, and Cathy Schmidt, Cumming; a brother, Guy Edge, Winder; and three grandchildren. O'Kelley Nicholson Troy Vernon O'Kelley, 79, of 160 O'Kelley Road, died Saturday, July 20, 1996. A native of Madison County, Mr. O'Kelley was a son of the late George and Mary Berrong O'Kelley. He was a retired brick mason and a World War II veteran. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. Terry Wardlaw, Jamie Bailey and Harold Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
