Loggins Americus Geraldine E. Loggins, 76, of 2001 S. Lee St., and formerly of Commerce, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996. A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Loggins was a daughter of the late Bartow and Mae King Edwards. She was the widow of Honie `Bill' Loggins, and was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Owens. She was formerly the owner of Owens Florist and was a member of First Baptist Church, Commerce. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jackson Memorial Park with the Rev. Don Paulson officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Joan O. Mason, Americus, Jean O. Denson, Atlanta, and Celia O. Adams, Athens; four sisters, Christine Meadows and Odessa Rieke, both of Atlanta, Bonnie Acree, Acworth, and Mary Lou Bates, Rome; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Nunnally Jr. Eatonton William Eugene Nunnally Jr., 47, of 1526 Madison Road, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Nunnally was a son of William E. Sr. and Gladys Whithrow Nunnally. He was a laborer for Horton Homes. Funeral services will at 5 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Burial will be in Buckhead City Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Diane Nunnally; a son, Joseph Nunnally, Eatonton; two stepsons, Charles Harvey Jr., Madison, and Joseph Harvey, Eatonton; and a sister, Janet Cronic, Madison. Charles A. Arnold Augusta Charles Alfred Arnold, 37, of 2839 Fairmont St., formerly of Athens, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Arnold was a son of Annie B. Bostic Athens Sarah Jackson Bostic of 228 Sanders Road, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1996. A native of Greene County, Ms. Bostic was a daughter of the late Brad Jackson and Minnie Slaughter. Jackson, Sparta, S.C.; and three grandchildren. Katherine P. Boes Conyers Katharine Paulette Peters Boes, 38, of 1975 McCalla Road, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1996. A native of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Boes was a daughter of Margaret Ann Peters of Bishop and the late Randolph Peters. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Temple United Methodist Church, Oglethorpe County, with the Rev. Robert McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Bibb County, Mrs. Patten was a daughter of the late James and Kate Poss Pope. She taught in the Madison County School System for several years, and later worked as a postal clerk until her retirement. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hull Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Jerri Jensen, Watkinsville, and Kate Mathers, Leesburg, Fla.; a sister, Mary Jim Connolly, Athens; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A native of Steele City, Neb., Mr. Clark was a son of the late Fay David and Madeline Julie McDonald Clark. He was retired from the Defense Department, Defense Logistics Agency. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps World War II veteran, and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Fred Young and Don Elders officiating. Burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Survivors include his wife, Esther M. Carter Clark; five daughters, Patricia Ann Vanderplatts, Kathleen M. Clark and Susan H. Dr. Harry Harper Jr. Evans Dr. Harry T. Harper Jr., 85, of 4275 Owens Road, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996. A native of Copperhill, Tenn., Dr. Harper was a cardiologist. He was a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine and was chairman of the Richmond County Hospital Authority and a founder and past president of the Georgia Heart Association. He was a member and elder of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be today at Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Harry T. Harper III, Augusta, and William W. Harper, Athens; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 2261 Walton Way, Augusta 30904; or to the Harry T.
