Stansell Elberton Chrystal Dawn Jennings Stansell, 19, of Dempsey Brown Road died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Stansell was a daughter of Donald Jennings, Gainesville, and Nita Jo Perrin, Elberton. She was a clerk for Royals Convenience Store, Danielsville, and a member of Mount Zion Church of God. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, Hartwell, with W.J. Taylor and the Rev. Ben Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Scottie Lee Stansell; a stepfather, Malcolm Perrin, Elberton; a son, Christopher B. Price, Royston; a daughter, Brianna Jo Stansell, Elberton; a brother, Bruce Jennings, Gainesville; two sisters, Amy Jennings and Angela Jennings, both of Elberton; a grandmother, Betty Osborne, Elberton; a great-grandmother, Angie Lewis, Elberton; a stepgrandmother, Matilda Perrin, Elberton; and a step- great-grandmother, Mary Perrin, Canton, Ohio. The family is at the residences of Malcolm Perrin, 1102 Pearl Mill Road, Elberton, and Doug Ankerich, 305 Carey Craft Road, Bowersville. Louise Wilbanks Kansas City, Mo. Louise Wilbanks, formerly of Carnesville, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, Carnesville. Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, is in charge of local arrangements and will announce when the family will receive friends. McGilley State Line Chapel is in charge of arrangements in Kansas City, Mo. Norman Rabek Athens Norman Rabek, 74, of 335 Pine Forest Drive died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Rabek was a son of the late Emil B. and Alma Havlicek Rabek. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the Air Force Reserves from 1946 to 1949. He was a graduate of Fenn College, Cleveland, Ohio, and was a retired electrical engineer with Reliance Electric. He was a member of IEEE, 71st Division Association, Athens Rock and Gem Club and American Legion. He was council president of Northeast Georgia Girls Scouts, and a Boy Scout master, Cub Scout master and merit badge counselor with Northeast Ohio Boy Scout Council. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Athens, where he served on the administrative board. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Dr. Garnett Wilder and the Rev. Grady Wigley officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Grace Rabek, Athens; three sons, Norman J. Rabek Jr., Burnsville, N.C., Richard A. Rabek, Louisville, Ky., and William T. Rabek, Fayetteville; a daughter, Nancy R. Sheppard, Athens; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church's building fund. Julia Youngblood Toccoa Julia Mae Heaton Woods Youngblood, 95, of 127 York St. died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996. A lifelong resident of Stephens County, Mrs. Youngblood was a daughter of the late Columbus and Maggie Black Heaton and the widow of Walter G. Woods and Charles E. Youngblood. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Copeland Todd. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Dr. Perry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Medlin and Geneva Thomas, both of Toccoa; three sons, Frank Woods, Monks Corner, S.C., Dalton Woods, Toccoa, and Billy Woods, Little Rock, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Woods, Mike Thomas, Walter Woods, Jimmy Thomas, Tim Woods, Brett Woods and Terry Medlin. The family will be at their respective residences and will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Clayton Jordan Sr. Comer David Clayton Jordan Sr., 94, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996. A native of Madison County, Mr. Jordan was a son of the late Moses Yancey and Sally Moon Jordan. He was retired and a member of Comer Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Revs. Stuart Lang, John Davison and David C. Jordan Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Comer Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Battle, Dunwoody; a son, the Rev. David C. Jordan Jr., Athens; a brother, Harry Jordan, Blairsville; three sisters, Edna Gilkey and Helen Martens, both of Blairsville, and Julia Hutchins, Augusta; a grandchild; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. John H. Massey Griffin Dr. John Hubert Massey, 80, of Grandview Drive died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996. A native of Banks County, Dr. Massey was a son of the late George and Nancy Peyton Massey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Massey. He was retired from the Georgia Experiment Station agronomy department. He received degrees from the University of Georgia and Louisiana State University and held a doctorate in agriculture. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and First Baptist Church of Griffin, where he was a member of the XYZ Club and Bramlett Sunday School class. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Westwood Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Omie H. Massey; a daughter, Martha Catrett, Barnesville; eight sisters, Mamie White, Baldwin, Mae Jones and Esther Green, both of Gastonia, N.C., Myrtle Crenshaw, Columbus, Flois Duckett, Demorest, Betty Meeks, Lula, Vernell Hix, Jefferson, and Reba Turner, Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Howard Massey, Lilburn, and Edward Massey, Homer; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
