Tribble Todd Union Point S. Tribble Todd, 85, of Old Crawfordville Road died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Todd was a son of the late Thomas and Pearl Nixon Todd. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and taught at Rhinehardt College and Berry College. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Union Point. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Wise-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens. Survivors include a sister, Elsie Todd Baker, Atlanta. Melvin Phillips Jefferson Melvin S. Phillips, 63, of 4511 Winder Highway died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996. A native of Booneville, Miss., Mr. Phillips was a son of the late Ernest and Katie Lou Rinehart Phillips. He was retired from Budd Co., an auto parts company in Indiana. He was an Army veteran of the the Korean War and a Methodist . A native of Franklin County, Mr. Carey was a son of the late Pearline E. Carey. He was a self-employed welder and logger. Hulsey, 75, died Thursday, Sept. 26. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Hulsey was a son of the late George F. and Anna Kesil Hulsey and the widow of Libby Bargeron Hulsey. He was the retired owner and general manager of Anchor Warehouse in Atlanta and was an Army veteran of World War II. He attended the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Lamda Chi fraternity, and was a Presbyterian. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev.
