Pine St. died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996. A lifelong resident of Toccoa, Mr. Murray was a son of the late Amos and Addie Busha Murray and the widower of Anne Murray. He was retired from Coats and Clark and was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Partridge officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include four sons, Michael Murray, Harvey, La., Wayne Murray, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Tony Murray, Gainesville, and Walter Murray, Marietta; a brother, Henry Murray, Toccoa; a sister, Jessie Pless, Toccoa; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Elizabeth S. McElroy Danielsville Elizabeth Scott McElroy, 75, of Route 1 died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996. A native of Dennis, Texas, Mrs. McElroy was a daughter of the late Frank O. and Betty Lee Williams Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Danielsville United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Danielsville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cherryl Maxfield officiating. Survivors include her husband, Irvin R. McElroy; a son, Neil H. McElroy, Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Elaine Rene Deason, Carnesville; two sisters, Nell Brown, Austin, Texas, and Dorothy Aue, Bebee, Ark.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements. Jacob M. Medley Watkinsville Jacob Michael Medley, 6, of 1060 Sharon Place died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996. A native of Buford, S.C., Jacob was a son of Adrian Medley of Watkinsville, and Christi Hickman of Mankito, Minn. He attended Oconee Primary School and Mars Hill Baptist Church and First Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Chapel, West, Bogart, with the Revs. Kenneth Glenn and Byron Wells officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a stepmother, Kim Medley, Watkinsville; two stepbrothers, Josh Barton and Stephen Barton, both of Watkinsville; four grandparents, Buck and Teresa Williams and R.L. and Pam Crawford, all of Watkinsville; six great-grandparents, Willard and Myrtice Kilpatrick, Bishop, and Roy Lee and Sylvia Sosbee and Bud and Gwen Carson, all of Bogart; and four great-great grandparents, Herman and Myrtle Brooks and Roy and Josie Sosbee, all of Bogart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jacob Medley Fund at Oconee State Bank. Keith A. Rucker Gainesville Keith Antonia Rucker, 19, of 2381 E. Dennis St. died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1996. A native of Richmond County, Mr. Rucker was a son of Agnes Elaine Rucker of Gainesville and Jimmy Lee Blackwell of Hartwell. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Oglesby officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two children; three sisters, Kiesha Blackwell, Hartwell, and Dianell Blackwell and Jessica Mattox, both of Atlanta; four brothers, Robert J. Curten and Remus M. Curten, both of Elberton, and Jimvirs Morrison and Jamrya Blackwell, both of Hartwell. The family is at the home of Annie Starks, 64 Bo Hill Estates, Hartwell. Mack's Funeral Home, Hartwell, is in charge of arrangements. Dennis C. Cole Toccoa Dennis Clayborn Cole, 75, of Hilltop Lane died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996. A native of Hart County, Mr. Cole was a son of the late Freeman and Lillie Belle Freeman Cole and the widow of Annie Blanche Segars Cole. He was a retired mail carrier, a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Zebulon Baptist Church with the Revs. Ty Childers, Marcus Martin and Danny Deforest officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Thomason Cole; two daughters, Linda Franklin, Toccoa, and Susan Cole, Norcross; a stepson, Mike Thomason, Carnesville; four sisters, Iris Ballew, Anderson, S.C., Lake Browning, Clemson, S.C., Edith Cole, Anderson, and Jean Harbell, Laurens, S.C.; a brother, Darryl Cole, Townville, S.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
