A native of Clarke County, Mr. Brewer was a son of the late Horace and Mary Craft Brewer. He was a retired salesman and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Dayton Logan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Brewer, Colbert; a sister, Lois Stoyle, Aiken, S.C.; two brothers, Earl Brewer, Winterville, and Clarence Brewer, Athens; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Foster Jr., 86, of Old Athens Highway, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997. A native of Habersham County, he was a son of the late Haskell Calloway Foster Sr. and Susan Berrong Foster. He was a retired farmer and a member of Level Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Whitfield Funeral Home, Baldwin, with the Revs. Billy Foster and Billy Burrell officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens with the Rev. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Howington was a daughter of the late Martha Cordelia Ann (Hawks) Thurmond and William M. Thurmond, and the widow of Gordon Howington. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Borders and Regia Borders, and a daughter, Bernice Williams. Mrs. Howington was a retired restaurant owner, and a member of the Eastern Star and Rebacca's. She was a member of Harmony Christian Church.
