A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Bell was a daughter of the late Mary and William D. Eubanks and the widow of the late Bill Wofford and Willie V. Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Little-Ward Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. Survivors include two sons, Alvin D. Wofford, Houston, and James D. Wofford, Commerce; three sisters, Alma Anderson, Nicholson, Claudia Matthews, Commerce, and Ann Wilhite, Commerce; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today. Ralph Bellamy Jr. Carnesville Ralph Newton Bellamy Jr., 41, of 2045 New Bethel Church Road died Friday, August 1, 1997. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Bellamy was a son of Ralph N. and Nolie Ayers Bellamy of Carnesville. He was the husband of the late Tamyra Jane "Tammy" Bellamy. He was a graduate of Piedmont College and received his masters in education and a specialist in educational leadership from the University of Georgia. He was an assistant principal at Eastanollee Elementary School. He was a member of the Double Churches Volunteer Fire Department, Toccoa Mason Lodge #309, Toccoa Chapter #21 Royal Arch, E.L. McConnell Council #40, Philemon Commandery #33 and the Shriners. He was a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church where he served on the board of trustees. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church with the Revs. Marcus Martin and Kenneth Deitle and Layman Warren T. Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Ralph Newton "R.N." Bellamy III, of the home; two daughters, Charli Alanna Bellamy and Anna Hope Bellamy, both of the home; a sister, Jan Bertrang, Carnesville; a niece and a nephew and numerous aunts and uncles. Tamyra Bellamy Carnesville Tamyra Jane "Tammy" Parker Bellamy, 40, of 2045 New Bethel Road died Saturday, August 2, 1997. A native of Corvallis, Ore., Mrs. Bellamy was a daughter of Richard B. and Johnnie M. Barlow Parker of Gainesville. She was the wife of the late Ralph Newton Bellamy Jr. She was a graduate of Brenau University and held a specialists degree in education leadership from Clemson University. She was a red team seventh grade language arts teacher at Franklin County Middle School. She was a member and past president of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority for honor teachers and a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church where she served as the church pianist, church secretary and on the administrative board. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church with the Revs. Marcus Martin and Kenneth Deitle and Layman Warren T. Wilkinson officiating. A native of Hart County, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Pierce C. and Ellen McDougald Brown. He was preceded in death by a son, Allton Brown. He was a retired farmer and a member and former deacon of Mount Hebron Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Black officiating. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth B. Dean, Bowersville; two sisters, Lena B. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Gary was a son of the late George and Maude Kennedy Gary. He served in the Army and was employed as a senior logistic engineer by Boeing Aircraft Corp. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he served as treasurer. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Warren B. Ruf officiating and Jim Albertson assisting. Burial will be in Oconee Hills Cemetery. George E. Harbin Lavonia George Ellis Harbin, 84, of 144 Parkertown Road died Saturday, August 2, 1997. A native of Hart County, Mr. Harbin was a son of the late William Lester and Fannie Lou Dye Harbin. He was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company and was also formerly associated with Monroe Auto Equipment Company and the Dunlap Corporation. He was a member of the Carroll's Methodist Church. A native of Whitmire, S.C., Mr. Howard was a retired service engineer with the Georgia Factory for the Blind and a member and active deacon of the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. He taught the E.J. Willis Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church and was an Army-Air Force veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the China-Burma-India Hump Pilots Association, Inc. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Leroy Spinks, Dr. Charles Pollock and the Rev. John M. Dickson officiating. Burial will be in Oak City Cemetery. A native of Philadelphia County, Pa., Mr. Mengel was a son of the late Mary and William E. Mengel. He was a mechanic. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maranatha Village in Sebring, Fla. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Verna Mengel, a son, William M. Jean Steer Athens Jean Kell Steer, 74, of 335 Beechwood Drive died Thursday, July 31, 1997. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Steer was a daughter of the late Admiral Claude Owen Kell and Clara Peifer. She was a graduate of the University of California and a volunteer for the Red Cross and Reading for the Blind. She worked as a reference librarian and was of the Episcopal faith. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bridges Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ralph Marsh officiating. After the service, friends of the family are invited to a reception at the Steer residence, 335 Beechwood Drive. Survivors include her husband, Alfred G.
