A native of Rabun County, Mrs. Beasley was a daughter of the late Pat and Rosetta Ramey Cagle and widow of Claude Sanders. She attended Demorest Church of God. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Demorest Church of God with the Revs. J.C. Quilliams and Steve Welch officiating. Burial will be in Sanders Cemetery. He was a retired carpenter and farmer and was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church. A native of Walton County, Mrs. Chambers was a daughter of the late William Dudley and Edna Gunter Spearman and the widow of Levy Bearden Chambers. She graduated from Wesleyn College in 1928, was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy, and was a housewife. Graveside services will be in Madison City Cemetery at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. Thomas Kerr officiating. A native of Carthage, Mo., Dr. McKnight was a son of the late Clark Conley and Margaret Davis McKnight and the widower of Elnora Stover McKnight. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elnora Ann Jones. He was a 1948 graduated of Rockmart Bible College in Denver, Colo., and was awarded a doctor of divinity degree from Pillsbury Baptist College, Owatonna, Minn., in 1959. He was the first dean for Bible Baptist College, Denver, Colo., and served on many college and association boards through the years. He worked for California and Georgia Departments of Family and Children Services and was a retired social worker in Lafayette. He pastored a number of churches including Westwood Baptist, Denver, Colo.; First Baptist. Maxwell, Neb.; Calvary Baptist, Estherville, Iowa; First Baptist, Danville, Ill.; Trinity Baptist, Sunnyville, Calif., where he served as associate pastor; First Baptist, Mariposa, Calif.; and First Baptist, Gunnison, Colo.; he conducted jail ministries in each town. He currently was serving as interim pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Athens. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church with the Revs. Lee Ayers and Bill Ricketts officiating. The eulogy will be by Paul Chandler. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Jones officiating. He was retired after 43 years at Mobil Oil Co. in Savannah, and was secretary and life member of Savannah Lions Club, a member of the board of directors and life member of The Salvation Army, a member of Solomon's Lodge 1 since 1952 and Alee Temple Chanters Unit since 1954, and a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church and Samuel T. She was a member of The Catholic Center in Athens, her home since 1975, and attended Nativity Catholic Church in Thunderbolt while living in Savannah.
