She was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church, a quality control technician and a homemaker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Berry Funeral Home with Dr. C.E. Jackson III and the Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Mary Black Royston Mary Esther Black, 74, formerly of 195 Linton Ave., Lavonia, died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997. A native of Franklin County, Miss Black was a daughter of the late Jessie Mae Reed Black. She was retired after 45 years from the office of Lavonia Manufacturing Co. She attended Lavonia Church of God. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hamby-Weldon Funeral Home with the Revs. Willard R. Fitzpatrick and Steven D. Hamby officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens North. Harold Carey Athens Harold Duveriux Carey, 56, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Carey was a son of Fannie M. Carey and the late Robert Carey. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Crenshaw was a son of Annie Morris Crenshaw of Jefferson and the late Howard Crenshaw. He was a retired truck driver and of the Christian faith. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Woodbine Cemetery with Pastor Robin Self officiating. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Betty Jean Crenshaw; a daughter, Jean Stephens Evans, Jefferson; a sister, Jean Crenshaw, Jefferson; two brothers, Dr. J.T.
