Daniel Atlanta Freddie Lee Daniel, 59, formerly of Greene County, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997. A native of Greene County, Mr. Daniel was a son of the late Eddie and Willie Mary Daniel. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, White Plains, and Sylvester Baptist Church, Atlanta, where he was a deacon. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rock Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Nunnally officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Nellie Edwards Colbert Nellie Sorrow Edwards, 86, of Sorrow-Patterson Road died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Edwards was a daughter of the late Albert Gibson and Linnie Burroughs Sorrow, the widow of Crawford Edwards and was preceded in death by an infant son, Wyatt Edwards. She was a weaver with GARCO Manufacturing Co. and a member of Westview Baptist Church, Greenville, S.C. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Virgil Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Sorrow-Patterson Cemetery. Hill, 85, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1997. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Hill was a son of the late B.C. and Emma P. Hill and the widower of Elizabeth Hill. The former owner of Hill's Office Equipment, he was a member of First Baptist Church, Winder, International Brotherhood of Musicians, a charter member of Kiwanis and was on the executive board of Boy Scouts of America. Hulsey, Toccoa, and the late Bennie Marvin Hulsey. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the state Department of Human Resources and a member of The State of Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Association. Lee Athens Mattie Evans Lee, 91, of 165 Winston Drive died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997. A native of Oconee County, Miss Lee was a daughter of the late John Evans and Lula Lowe Evans.
