A native of Habersham County, Mrs. Ash was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Coffee and the widow of Carl Ash. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Whitfield Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ash officiating. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Wilbanks, Baldwin; three stepdaughters, Gladys Pearsall, Gadsden, Ala., Lillian Jackson, Blairsville, and Jessie Myers, Arnoldsville; three stepsons, Rufus Ash, Arnoldsville, and James Ash and Donald Ash, both of Bishop; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Clinton Goldman Washington Clinton "Clint" Goldman, 74, of 2617 Courtground Road died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997. A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Goldman was a son of the late Floyd and Phoebe Thaxton Goldman. A World War II veteran, he was owner and operator of Goldman's store and a 64-year resident of Courtground community. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Resthaven Cemetery with the Revs. John M. King and Roy Cates officiating. Survivors include his wife, Marie Goldman; four stepdaughters, Teresa Jordan, Tignall, Wanda Cudzilo, Conyers, Hope Lee, Indiana, and Joy Johnson, Auburn; two stepsons, Jeffery Gray, Mesa, Ariz., and John Gray, Norfolk, Va.; 13 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Crawford, Tommy Thaxton, Phil Williamson, Wayne Poss, Pete Poss and Carol Hardy. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Hopkins Funeral Home. Eva Hardman Hartwell Eva Lois Hardman, 53, of 291 W. Johnson St., Apartment 405, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997. A native of Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Bose and Lucille Hardman. She was employed by Monroe Auto Equipment Co. and was a member of Norman Grove Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Missionary Society. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Norman Grove C.M.E. Church with the Revs. Joseph Earl, Eddie Thornton, G.B. Tate, K. Smith, H.T. Butler and L. Mahoney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Survivors include two children, Vanessa Hardman and Darnell Burton, both of Hartwell; five sisters, Arzonia Thornton, Shirley Baker and Genell Tolbert, all of Elberton, Rogene Allen, Dewy Rose, and Evella Hardman, Brooklyn, N.Y.; six brothers, Bose Hardman Jr., James Hardman, Elijah Hardman, Larry Hardman and Michael Hardman, all of Elberton, and the Rev. Fred Loggins Sr. Commerce Fred Loggins Sr., 91, 104 Fred Loggins Road died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997. A native of Hall County, Mr. Loggins was a son of the late Mammie Crane and Dillard Columbus Loggins. He was a farmer, a retired Jackson County school bus driver and a member of Freedom Church of God. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Curtis Hammond and Bob Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Howington Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Ellen G. Jennie Mae Nash Danielsville Jennie Mae Burleson Nash, 65, of New Haven Church Road died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997. A native of Cobb County, Mrs. Nash was a daughter of the late Grady and Annie Mae Morgan Burleson. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Singley officiating. Burial will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Graham Nash, Danielsville; a daughter, Melanie Nash Holdredge, Harker Heights, Texas; two sons, Derrold L. Nash and Wesley J. Nash, both of Danielsville; two sisters, Evelyn Webb and June Hornsby, both of Cobb County; a brother, Charles McManus, Archdale, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
