An Army veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was owner and operator of Floyd's Custom Cabinets and a member of the Homebuilders Association. A native of Heard County, Mr. Kee was a son of the late Nora J. and E.M. Kee Sr. He served in the Army, the Air National Guard and the Army National Guard for 37 years, during which he was a member of the 151st Aviation Battalion, the 878th Engineering Service Co., the 121st Infantry Battalion and the 116th Motor Vehicle Squadron. His rank at retirement was Chief Warrant Officer. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. He received his bachelor of science degree in industrial arts at State University in Oswego. He was a retired industrial arts teacher in the Canajoharie School District and a certified driver education teacher in Fort Plain. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Canajoharie, NYS United Teachers Association, the American Federation of Teachers (AFL-CIO), the NYS Retired Teachers Association, United States Golf Association, NYS Technology Education Association, Canajoharie Fire Dept., Fort Hunter Canal Society and the Family Motor Coach Association.
