A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Bryan was a son of the late Harry G. and Lena Oxford Bryan. He was a retired district engineer for the Department of Transportation and was employed as the Oglethorpe County chief tax appraiser. He was a member and deacon of Lexington Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lexington Baptist Church with the Revs. Harry Warren and George Hall officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery. Bugg, 42, of 397 Carroll Ave., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Bugg was a son of Annie Ree Bugg of Athens and the late William H. Lumpkin. He was employed by Goshen Cushion Inc., Watkinsville, and was a member of Hill Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Timothy Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry F. Hutchins officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
