A native of Elbert County, Mr. Adams was a son of the late Arthur Lee and Kate Parks Adams. He was a retired office supervisor. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Tara Gardens Chapel Funeral Home, Jonesboro, with David Chapman and the Rev. Ellis Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Willena Higginbotham Adams; a daughter, Shirley Shedd, Fairburn; two sisters, Kathryn White, College Park, and Evelyn Adamson, Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Arthur Hugh Adams, Elberton; a granddaughter; a grandson; and four great-grandsons. Mabel Berryman Royston Mabel Averitte Berryman, 74, of Cook Street died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 1997. A native of Fayetteville, N.C., Mrs. Berryman was a daughter of the late William and Luvinia Sutton Averitte and the widow of Stewart Berryman Sr. She was a seamstress at Georgia Sportswear for 16 years. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pruitte Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens South. Marian Bundrick Elberton Marian "Granny Bob" Brown Bundrick, 87, of 67 Clairmont Ave. died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 1997. A native of Fairfield County, S.C., Mrs. Bundrick was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Theodore Robertson Brown and the widow of George H. Bundrick. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Ruby Almond Bundrick and Ivy Jean "Beanie" Bundrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Hicks Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Maxfield officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Duncan was a son of the late Hubert William and Minnie Lee Veals Duncan and widower of Ethelene Nix Duncan. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a security guard at Athens Regional Medical Center and a member of Arcade Presbyterian Church.
