A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late Gip and Lake Gaines Crawford and the widow of Coy J. Alexander. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, with the Revs. David McConwell and Ed Sayer officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Hunt and Beth Drake, both of Elberton, and Bobbie Sue Simons, Brooklyn Park, Minn.; two sons, Billy Alexander, Hartwell, and Swanson Alexander, Sunland, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Dennis Drake, Stacey Drake, Michael Hunt, Gerald Hunt Jr., Jared Beckham and Julie Bannister. Ruby Bush Winterville Ruby Lee Bush of 215 Marlborough Downs Road died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997. A native of Winterville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Jane Bush. She was a member of New Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at New Grove Baptist Church, with Dr. James Washington Jr. officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Willie Mae Bush and Winnie L. Gary Campbell Athens Gary Allen Campbell, 45, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1997. A native of Clarke County, he was a son of Loyd and Frances Luthi Campbell of Athens. He was a graduate of Athens High School and a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. He was connected with Athens Regional Medical Center for the past 25 years. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. In addition to his parents, survivors include three sisters, Rosemary Underwood, Watkinsville, Kay Kimmet, Boston, Mass., and Patsy Madariga, Avondale Estates; and four brothers, Billy Campbell, Atlanta, Loyd Campbell Jr., Gainesville, Michael Campbell and John Campbell, both of Athens. A native of Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late James William and Minnie Dell Stewart Elrod. She was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church, the Daughters of Mary Sunday school class and the Zebulon Golden Ages. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with the Revs. Kenneth Walker, Wade Lord and Ty Childers officiating. Burial will be in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pellie Faust Athens Pellie Hubbard Faust died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997. A native of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Crit and Siddie Echols Hubbard and the widow of Lincoln Faust. She was retired from Gold Kist Poultry and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Faust was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother's Board. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Carlton, with the Revs. S.A. Bishop and W.S. Bass officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 12 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Fannie Faust Walters, Athens; three sons, Johnny Stephens, Lucious Faust and Ed Faust, all of Athens; a sister, Everneda Jordan, Augusta; and 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Donald Harper Flowery Branch Donald Jesse Harper, 58, of 6069 Atlanta Hwy. died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997. A native of Jackson County, he was a son of the late Mary Jane (Jordan) Harper and Willard Harper. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Revs. Brian Stowe and Jeff Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. Eric Martin Hull Wallace Ericson Martin, 48, of Hwy. 72 died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997. A native of Murphy, N.C., Mr. Martin was a son of the late George Wallace and Betty Loudermilk Martin. He had lived in the Athens area for the last five years, where he was the owner and operator of Martin Bros. Cleaning Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Notteley Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, N.C. Survivors include a sister, Iris Martin, Decatur; two brothers, Preston Martin of White, and Kirby Martin of Ellijay; and several nieces and nephews. Annie Schlock Greenwood, S.C. Annie Sue Saxon Schlock, 85, formerly of Greenwood, S.C., died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997. A native of Elbert County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Dutch and Susie Payton Saxon and the widow of Quillian C. Schlock. She was preceded in death by a son, George Coleman Schlock. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Greenwood, S.C. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Nancy Hart Memorial Park, Hartwell, with the Rev. Joe Chapman officiating. A native of Cary, N.C., she was the widow of Joseph Robert Smart and was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Gordon Smart. Mr. and Mrs. Smart owned and operated Smarts Service Station in Toccoa for a number of years. Mrs. Smart was a member of First Baptist Church in Toccoa, the WMU and the Garden Club of Toccoa. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Montlawn Funeral Home, Raleigh, N.C. Burial will be in Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include a son, Roger "Pete" Smart, Diboll, Texas; three sisters, Maude Von Hook, Fuquay, N.C., Mable Bailey, Morehead City, N.C., and Nel Barker, Raleigh, N.C.; and three grandsons.
