A native of St. David, Ill., Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of the late John and Annie Viaro Frasoa and the widow of Arthur L. Anderson. She was a homemaker. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Survivors include her son, Bob Anderson, Athens; a daughter, Karen Faith Anderson, Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Anderson, Canton, Mass.; and Julie Anderson, Atlanta; and two sisters, Eva Sepich, Kingston Mills, Ill., and Nilda Grzanich, Country Side, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Athens Community Council on Aging, Inc., 135 Hoyt St., 30601. Bernstein Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Elton Bond Royston Elton E. Bond, 61, of 2838 Sandy Cross Road died Friday, August 15, 1997. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Bond was a son of the late Bud and Annie Lou Phillips Bond. He was the dispatcher for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, owner of Bond Grocery and a volunteer fireman for the Sandy Cross Fire Department. Funeral services will be a 3 p.m. today at Pruitte Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy DuBose and Gary Osteen officiating. Burial will be in the Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bond, two daughters, Donna Carey and Deborah Bond, both of Royston; and two grandsons. The family is at the residence. Dennis E. Bradley Demorest Dennis E. Bradley, 74, of 2256 Highway 115 West died Saturday, August 9, 1997. A native of Union County, Mr. Bradley was a son of the late Christopher and Bessie Jackson Bradley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Bradley. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from the Navy after 20 years. He was also retired from a civil service position after 20 years and worked as a home building contractor. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Peggy Lowe officiating. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bradley, Calif.; three daughters, Penny Hansen, Klamsall, Ore., Aleta Garrison, Westminister, Calif., and Nona Bradley, Victorville, Calif.; two sons, Dennis Bradley, Marino Valley, Calif., and Patrick Bradley, Boulder City, Nev.; a brother, Doyle Bradley, Athens; four sisters, Alba Bailey, Charlotte, N.C., Lois Bradley, Athens, Betty Queen, Lexington, and Wilda Gilbreath, San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A native of Hart County, Mr. Curr was a son of the late George W. and Rosia L. Curry and the widower of Inez Jones Curry. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rock Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. H. Strong officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Curry, N.Y., N.Y., and Angie Lloyd, Jersey City, N.J.; three sons, Donald Curry, N.Y., N.Y., Michael Curry, Plainfield, N.J., and Byron Curry, Newark, N.J.; four sisters, Kathleen Kerr, Newark, N.J., Pearl Curry, Philadelphia, Alice Worthan, Hartwell, and Ann Koonce, Newark, N.J., and two grandchildren. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Mack's Funeral Home 7-8 p.m. today. Al Hillis Athens Al Hillis, 45, died Friday, August 15, 1997. Mr. Hillis was a son of Clarence N. and Rena Hillis, Hoschton. He was the owner of North Georgia Equipment Company and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the 36th Engineering Battalion. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ray Austin officiating. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Carol Hillis, three children, Khevia Flynn, Lancaster, S.C., and Alea Simpson and Sean Hillis, both of Hoover, Ala.; a sister, Beverly Hillis, Lilburn, four stepchildren, Ken Bullard, Loganville, Sean Wade and Jason Wade, both of Athens, and Traci White, Atlanta; and six step-grandchildren. Marshall, 88, of 450 Cherokee Ridge died Friday, August 15, 1997. A native of Siloam, Mrs. Marshall was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hal A. Rhodes and the widow of John W. Marshall. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold R. Marshall. She was a homemaker, a member of the Duplicate Bridge Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Athens. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Berry officiating. Survivors include six sons and daughter-in-laws, Ann and John W. Marshall III, Faye and Patrick P. Marshall Sr. and William C. and Dane Marshall; a daughter, Mary Marshall Wade, Smyrna; two sisters, Elizabeth Martin, Atlanta, and Rebecca Nelson, Banning, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Parker, 61, of 224 Mulberry St., died Thursday, August 14, 1997. A native of Norfolk, Va., Mr. Parker was a son of Eva Nita Parker, Winton, N.C., and the late Harry Hilborn Parker Sr. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rozsa Feher Parker. He was an Army veteran and an electrician with Louisiana Pacific Corp. for nine years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bernstein Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Horace Smith Hull Horace O'Neal Smith, 69, of Rt. 3 Box 243, died Thursday, August 14, 1997. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Smith was a son of the late William Green and Mary Madeline Gann Smith. He was retired from Ford Motor Company-Dearborn Division, Detroit, where he made his home for 27 years. After retirement, he returned to Athens where he remained a member of the United Auto Workers Association and a member of Whitehall Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Myra P. Smith, three stepdaughters, Colette Woods, Hull, Ann Hill, Statham, and Linda Cartledge, Athens; a stepson, Mike Woods, Colbert; two brothers, George W. Smith, Jonesboro, and Donald Ray Smith, Dearborn, Mich.; two sisters, Mary Frances Smith, Athens, and Darlene Marie Bell, Hull; an uncle, Ralph Smith, Conyers; several step grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
