A native of Clarke County, Mr. Casper was a son of John D. and Faye J. Casper of Snellville. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a service technician for BellSouth. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. Jerry Thompson officiating. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Sara Casper; two children, Dona Mann, Statham, and April Morris, Winder; two brothers, Jerry Lane Casper, Buford, and James Leroy Casper, Auburn; four sisters, Alice Sewell, Grayson, Rita Camp, Flat Rock, Ala., Gail Battles, Auburn, and Jean Dover, Snellville; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation. Alice Hancock Athens Alice Thaxton Hancock, 83, of 985 Winterville Road died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Hancock was a daughter of the late Garland and Nell Sorrow Thaxton and the widow of Derrell Hancock. She was a homemaker and a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church and the Stella Hancock Bible Class. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Tuckston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herb Owen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Hall, Athens; two sons, Robert Hancock, Bishop, and David Hancock, Athens; two brothers, Lamar Thaxton and Emory Thaxton, both of Nicholson; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. June Hart Royston June Mitchell Hart, 48, of 10463 Royston Road died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997. A native of Anderson County, S.C., Mrs. Hart was a daughter of Edwin and Mary Evelyn Durham Mitchell of Royston. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pruitte Funeral Home with Evangelist Harry Nix officiating. Burial will be in Cary Memorial Gardens. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Roger C. Gail Morrison of Lawrenceville and Myron W. Jordan of Hartwell. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hartwell First Baptist Church with John Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Jehovah's Witness Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Bryson De'Mone Jordan Jr., Hartwell; and a brother, Bryan Patrick Jordan, Hartwell. Gary Locke Bridgton, Maine Gary W. Locke, 88, died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997. A native of Fryburg, Maine, Mr. Locke was a son of the late Alec and Martha Kiesman Locke and the widower of Elizabeth Chase Locke. He had been employed in the research and design division of Weyerhauser Corp. in Westbrook, Maine, and was the administrator of Northern Cumberland Memorial Hospital from 1968 to 1972. He was a Mason and a member of the Lions Club, the Order of Red Men and the Odd Fellows. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ, North Gorham, Maine. Survivors include a daughter, Rae E. Bacon, Windsor, Maine; three sons, Lt. Cmdr. Gary W. Locke Jr., Danielsville, Linfred F. Locke, Bridgton, and Alan L. Jimmie Miller Bogart Jimmie Nell Miller, 76, of 274 Elder Court died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997. A native of Denton, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Marcus N. and Mattie Kea Durden. She was of the Methodist faith. No funeral services will be conducted. Burial will be in Sarasota, Fla. Survivors include two sisters, Rose Solomon and Florence Clements, both of Hazelhurst. Bridges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Robert Randall Toccoa The Rev. Robert Nolan Randall, 75, of 1503 Georgia Highway 106 died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997. A native of Franklin County, the Rev. Randall was a son of the late Robert T. and Mamie Whitworth Randall. An Army veteran of World War II, he was an ordained Baptist minister and served as pastor at many Georgia churches, including New Hope Baptist Church in Toccoa. He was a member and associate pastor of Carnes Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Georgia Baptist Convention executive committee and Stephens County Hospital's Chaplency Ministry. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Carnes Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim Miller, J.T. Tyson and James Faircloth officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Verlia Mae Poole Randall; a daughter, Libby Hambrick, Eastanollee; a stepmother, Ruth Randall, Anderson, S.C.; two brothers, Hershel Randall, Roswell, and John Randall, Canon; and two grandchildren.
