She attended Greensboro High School, Atlanta University and Knoxville College and earned a bachelor's degree from Savannah State College. She was a member of Pierce Chapel AME Church, White Plains. Kathryn Bolton Athens Kathryn K. Bolton, 92, of 310 McWhorter Drive died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997. A native of Pine Mountain, formerly Chipley, Mrs. Bolton was a daughter of the late Heyward and Eva Mobley Kimbrough and the widow of John D. Bolton Sr. She was preceded in death by a son, John D. Bolton Jr. She was the former comptroller of the University of Georgia and a member of Athens First United Methodist Church. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Cleveland was a son of the late Isaac Cade and Annie Burris Cleveland. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was retired from the Georgia National Guard and was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church.
