A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Barnard was a daughter of the late William Oscar and Noma Todd Westmoreland. She was a retired teacher in the Gwinnett County School System and was a member of Corinth Christian Church in Loganville. George 'Mike' Bradley Watkinsville George Michael "Mike" Bradley, 54, of 1011 Windward Court died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997. A native of Arkansas, Mr. Bradley was a son of Mickey Bradley of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and the late George W. Bradley. He was owner of Classic Awards and attended Prince Avenue Baptist Church. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Brock was a son of the late Fred David "Ted" and Ethel Elrod Brock. He was retired after 25 years at Toccoa Casket Co., served on the advisory board of the Casket Co. Whittemore, pastor emeritus of Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997. A native of Whitfield County, the Rev. Whittemore and his wife, Sara Lynn, retired in 1973 and have resided in Athens since that time. They also lived in Athens while serving as pastor of Young Harris Memorial, 1943-47 and the Athens Circuit, 1935-39. During the Rev. Whittemore's ministry of 41 years in the North Georgia Annual Conference, he served the following appointments: Homer, Athens Circuit, Little River Circuit, Union Point, Young Harris Memorial in Athens, Bethany, Newnan Springs, Buford, Washington, Forsyth, Conyers, Douglasville, Lindale and Leland.
