Aaron, 68, of 165 Clyde Road died Wednesday, June 18, 1997. A native of Clarke County, Dr. Aaron was a son of the late Jim and Alice Turner Aaron. He earned his doctorate in reading education from the University of Georgia, where he was professor emeritus. Dr. Aaron was a tutor of illiterate children at Chase Street Elementary School, principal of Montgomery Elementary School for a year and football coach at Sprayberry High School in Marietta. He was a veteran of the Korean War and attended St. James Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Oconee Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Kent Reynolds officiating. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Coven Aaron; a daughter, Melanie Lynn Aaron, Athens; a son, Robert Russell Aaron, Athens; a brother, Doug Aaron, Rome; and nieces and nephews. The family is at the residence and will receive friends 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at Bridges Funeral Home. Morris Bray Royston William Morris Bray, 71, of 810 Harrison Bridge Road died Wednesday, June 18, 1997. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Bray was a son of the late James Dozier and Emma Haley Bray. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass Co. and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ken Deittle and Fred Heard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Garnell Brown Bray; a daughter, Marsha Hanley, Royston; a sister, Ludez Belk, Iva, S.C.; two brothers, Mitchell Bray, Colbert, and Eugene Bray, Royston; and a granddaughter. Collins Danielsville Ruth Teate Collins, 84, of Route 3 died Wednesday, June 18, 1997. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Collins was a daughter of the late Seaborn Andrew Jackson and Linnie Williams Teate. She was preceded in death by a son, George Brown, a grandson, Danny Collins, and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Eubanks. Mrs. Collins had served as district chairwoman and state vice chairwoman for the Georgia Farm Bureau and was a charter member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 348. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in civic activities. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Revs. Glenn Guest, Calvin Coile and Dayton Logan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Edwards was a son of the late Felix and Mary M. Edwards. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Washington. A native of Round Hill, Va., Mrs. Hoge was a daughter of the late William Clay and Lula Synthia Wynkoop Otley and the widow of Louis Gilmer Hoge. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dorothy C. Hearn. Mrs. Hoge was a graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredricksburg, Va., received her master's degree from George Washington University and was a retired elementary school principal. She was a member of Mary C. Reid Baptist Women, Washington Historical Society, Friends of the Library, Daughters of the American Revolution, Iris Garden Club, Wills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Washington Little Theater and First Baptist Church, where she had taught the TEL Sunday school class. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Albert Huyck officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara H. Hearn, Washington, and Jane H.
