A native of Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha Reid and widow of Gordon Bradford. She was a member of Carlton Grove Baptist Church where she also attended school. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Sunday at Carlton Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. H. L. Dotson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There are no immediate survivors. The family will receive friends at McKinney-Neal Mortuary, Inc., today from 7-8 p.m. Marvin S. Dunson Sr. Toccoa Marvin Shankle Dunson Sr., 72, of West Currahee Road, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Dunson was a son of the late William Jackson and Rilla Rice Dunson. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a company commander of the United States Navy Reserve. He was retired from Coats & Clark after 30 years of service. His family owned and operated Currahee Apple Orchard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Curtis Wesley Sunday school class. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Partridge, Jack Lamb and Larry Wilbanks officiating. Burial will be at Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Dale Jones Dunson, Toccoa; a daughter Nancy Smith, Pensacola, Fla.; two sons Marvin S. Formerly of Union Point and a native of Greene County, Mr. Moon was a son of the late Dock and Phoebie Moon. He was a member of the Randolph Baptist Church where he served as deacon. A native of Fulton County, Mr. Smith was a son of Bo and Marsha Smith and lived in Oconee County all his life. He was a 1990 graduate of Oconee High School and attended Reinhardt College, Walaska, and the University of Georgia. He was an avid hiker and outdoorsman.
