A native of Walton County, Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late George W. Stapp and Rosie L. Taylor and the widow of Ashley Campbell Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church . Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church in Godfrey with the Rev. R.T. Booth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ann Perdue, Jacksonville, Fla., Dorothy L. Jones, Godfrey, and A. Christine Hammond, Morrow; three sons, Ashley Campbell III, Godfrey, Robert Lee Campbell, Madison, and Larry Thomas Campbell, Covington; two brothers, Lester Lee Stapp, Greensboro, and Leroy Stapp, Milledgeville; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Peggy Crook Canon Peggy Lee Thomas Crook, 54, of 867 Frank Crook Road died Saturday, August 23, 1997 at Athens Regional Medical Center. A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Crook was a daughter of Robert Thomas and the late Evelyn Verner Thomas. She was employed with Monroe Auto Equipment for 11 years and was a homemaker. She attended Flat Shoals Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zidon Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Osteen and Sid Newell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Survivors, in addition to her father, include her husband, Charles Harold Crook, two sons, Kenneth Stephen Bond and Jeffery Lee Bond, both of Royston; a daughter, Ashley Jane Crook, Canon; a step-son, Gregory Harold Crook, Lavonia; a step-daughter, Lisa Ann Zimmermann, Chelsley, Mich.; two brothers, John Edward Thomas, Royston, and Kenneth Gary Thomas, Macon; and two grandchildren, LeAnna Camille Bond and Adrianna Makale Bond, both of Royston. Imogene Smith Danielsville Imogene Williams Smith, 81, of Comer Road died Sunday, August 24, 1997. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late James B. and Lula McGinnes Williams and the widow of Lewis John Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Smith-Wheeler. She was a homemaker. There will be no funeral services. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Broadnax and Terry Tyner, both of Danielsville; a brother, Dennis Williams, Stone Mountain; two sisters, Mattie L. Williams and Ollie Mae Williams, both of Danielsville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence until Tuesday morning. "Johnny" Stewart, 42, of 67 Boone Road died Saturday, August 23, 1997. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Stewart was a son of Evia Stewart and the late Raymond Ransom Stewart. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wise-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Lee officiating. Burial will be in White Pains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Daniel C. Wilson Royston Rev. Daniel C. Wilson, 87, of 1980 East Main St. died Saturday, August 23, 1997. A native of Auburn, Miss., Rev. Wilson was a son of the late Jerome B. Wilson Sr. and Sara Hilda Coward Wilson. He was a graduate of Mississippi College and the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He taught at Emmanuel College from 1937 to 1950 and pastored Franklin Springs, Athens, Flatwoods, Goldmine and David's Homes Pentecostal Holiness Churches. He taught public school for 20 years and at Athens Christian School for 3 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Church with Dr. A.D. Beacham Jr., Rev. Tim Marriner, Rev. John W. Swails and the Rev. Charles Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Springs City Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 4 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Sara James Wilson, a son, Thomas Warren Wilson, Royston; a daughter, Jan Hewson, Royston; four brothers, Burk Wilson, Jackson, Miss., J.B.
