Allen, 70, of 358 Sanders St. died Thursday, June 26, 1997. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Samuel O. and Estelle Peppers Martin. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wise-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Russell Allen; five sons, Bobby Blake, North Augusta, S.C., and Terry Barrett, Steve Blake, Troy Blake and Larry Blake, all of Winder; three stepsons, Ronnie Allen and Robert Allen, both of Winder, and Randall Allen, Athens, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. Marion Bogle Cuthbert Marion Reid Bogle died Wednesday, June 25, 1997. Mrs. Bogle was a daughter of the late P.M. and Maude Martin Reid and the widow of Malcolm Hardin Bogle. She was a graduate of Andrew College and the University of Georgia. She was owner and director of Citizens Bank of Cuthbert, founded by her father, from 1958-1986. She served as trustee and trustee emeritus of Andrew College. Mrs. Bogle was a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames, Valdosta Town Committee and the Cuthbert United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in East View Cemetery with the Revs. Dan Wilson and Keith Goodlett officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Josephine Bogle Newton, Atlanta, and Rosamond Bogle Alexander, Athens; a sister, Josephine Reid Coffin, Cuthbert; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Lunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mary Dauenhauer Athens Mary Hughes Dauenhauer, 65, of 438 Sandstone Drive died Wednesday, June 25, 1997. A native of Belmont, Mass., Mrs. Dauenhauer was a daughter of the late William M. and Rose O'Keefe Hughes. She was a retired mathematics instructor at the University of Georgia and a member of the Catholic Center of the University of Georgia. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Catholic Center with the Rev. Steve Pavignano officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Bernard P. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Mathis was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Mary Isabelle Sisk DeLay. She was a homemaker and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. McClain Marietta Lauren T. "Mac" McClain, 74, formerly of Athens, died Thursday, June 26, 1997. A native of Toccoa, Mr. McClain was a son of the late L.T. and Besse McClain. He was a retired inspector at Lockheed and a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Athens, with the Rev.
