A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late Johnny A. and Pearl Shelton Carter and was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Lathan Kristian. She was retired from Singer Manufacturing Co. and was a member of New Franklin Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa, with the Revs. Bobby Joe Allen and Gettis Allen officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Hazel Ertzberger Toccoa Hazel Lorene Ertzberger, 85, of Toccoa Nursing Center died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997. A native of Franklin County, Miss Ertzberger was a daughter of the late Henry Elec and Nora Bruce Ertzberger. She was retired from Coats and Clark in Toccoa where she had been employed for 30 years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday school class. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Owenby and Dr. Doug Fergeson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence G. Erford Quillen Garrison, 69, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997. A native of Habersham County, the Rev. Garrison was a son of the late Emory and Lovenia Payne Garrison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Corps and was a retired carpenter. He was the former pastor of Tony Hill Baptist Church in Jefferson and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cross Roads Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Palmer and Michael Parker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Rev. A native of Fayette, Ala., Mrs. Prince was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Vista Caine Humber and the widow of Lt. Col. Robert C. Prince Jr. She was a secretary for Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She had also been employed as a secretary and receptionist for Dr. Harvey Cabiness. She was a Girl Scout leader and a Pink Lady for St. Mary's Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Revs. Ralph Mabry and Ben Parker officiating. Survivors include a daughter and a son-in-law, Patricia Moore and Bob Clark, Boise, Idaho; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert C. Katie Willis Toccoa Katie Jane Willis, 94, of 111 Parkway Drive died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997. A native of Jasper, Ala., Mrs. Willis was a daughter of the late Mortimer and Molly Hembree Durham and the widow of W.F. Willis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pauline Willis, and three sons, Frank Junior Willis, Walter Willis and Bobby Willis. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Toccoa Church of God and the Sanctuary Sunday school class.
