A native of Gwinnett County, he was a son of the late Samuel Deaton and Vassie Cheek. He was a foreman at Wellington Mills. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Ghann, Mike Pritchett and Willie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Christian Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Monday. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann McCannon Deaton; three daughters, Mildred Taylor and Kathy Bowers, both of Madison, and Dana Sanu, Athens; a son, Turner Deaton, Macon; a sister, Mary Hubbard, Stockbridge; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Simmons Funeral Home, Madison, from 7-9 p.m. today. Matthew Erber Commerce Matthew James Erber, 23, of 742 Lords Mill Road died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998. A native of Grand Traverse County, Mich., he was a son of Patricia (Merriam) Brown and William T. Brown of Commerce. He was a truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Deborah Sproles, Martin, and Michael Johnson, Acworth. The family will receive friends at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, from 7-9 p.m. today. Eula Bell Hall Calhoun Falls, S.C. Eula Bell Hall, 96, of Tugaloo Street died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998. A native of Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Martha E. Vaughan Hall. She was a retired weaver in the textile industry and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Hartley Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls, with the Rev. Jerry Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville, S.C. Survivors include two sisters, Emma H. Hagood, Greenwood, S.C., and Ethel H. Evans, Calhoun Falls; two brothers, Lyman Hall, Calhoun Falls, and Joshua Hall, Moorehead City, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be flowers or a donation to Northside Baptist Church, Calhoun Falls. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. today. The family is at the home of her brother, Lyman Hall, 405 Seneca St., Calhoun Falls. Richard Hulett Toccoa Richard Kevin Hulett, 38, of Whisenant Street died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998. A native of Red Bud, Ill., he was a son of Richard and Betty Hulett of Toccoa. He lived most of his life in Toccoa. Memorial services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa, with the Rev. John H. Gibson officiating. In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Jean Slater, Quincy, Ill., and Melanie Huff, St. Charles, Mo.; and two brothers, John Hulett, Toccoa, and Michael Hulett, Quincy, Ill. Eddie Bell Lyle Winder Eddie Bell Lyle, 94, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998. A native of Gwinnett County, she the daughter of Hill and Lily Fields Reynolds. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include two daughters, Eunice Saunders, Winder, and Grace Everett, Atlanta; a son, John F. Kimberly Marshall Cornelia Kimberly Dawn Marshall, 18, of 240 Bent Oak Drive died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998. She was a senior at Habersham Central High School and a member of the Habersham Central Chorus and Cornelia First Presbyterian Church. While a student at Greene-Taliaferro High School, she was a member of the Air Force ROTC and received an award for the highest scholastic average in her class in 1997. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles W. and Lillie J. McCluskey. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Cornelia First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Blaine Walker officiating. Burial will be in Level Grove Cemetery.
