Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Colbert Grove Baptist Church, Colbert, with the Rev. Ronnie Gantt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Debora Barber Hull Debora Carol Bailey Barber, 41, died Tuesday, June 30, 1998. A native of Anderson, S.C., Mrs. Barber was a daughter of James Howard "Speedy" Bailey and the late Daisey Mae Chambers Bailey. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. David McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. Darago Hartwell Joseph Steven Darago, 88, of 12247 N. 85th St., Scottsdale, Ariz., died Sunday, June 28, 1998. A native of Hungary, Mr. Darago was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Pocs Darago. He was a tool and dye maker and of the Lutheran faith. Private funeral services will be today at Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, Livonia, Mich. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Gresham was a son of Mary Helen Gresham of Stephens and Arthur Gresham Sr. of Maxeys. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. A native of Morristown, N.J., Ms. Jackson was a daughter of the late Mamie Page Batman and Oris Mangum. A resident of Morristown, N.J., she moved to Athens two years ago after retiring as a secretary from public broadcasting in Morristown. A devoted member of Union Baptist Church in Morristown, she accepted Christ at an early age and served faithfully until her health failed her. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at Mack & Payne Funeral Home with Pastor Ira Edwards, associate pastor at Timothy Baptist Church, officiating. Survivors include a son, Earl C. Jackson, and daughter-in-law, Venus F. Margery Saye Athens Margery Williams Saye, 77, of 185 Willow Run died Monday, June 29, 1998. A native of Putnam County, Mrs. Saye was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Lillian Pilkinton Williams. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vesta Williams Walker, and a brother, Robert L. Williams Jr. She lived most of her life in Athens and was a retired school teacher and reading specialist in Clarke County for 32 years. She was a graduate of Cuthbert High School and Andrew College and received a master's in education from the University of Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens, Jewell Sunday School Class and the Retired Teachers' Association and was a past president of St. Mary's Auxiliary. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park with Dr. Jon Appleton officiating. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Athens.
