A native of Barrow County, Mr. Cummings was a son of the late Lamar and Lois Gregory Cummings. He was employed by Cooper, Barnette and Page Construction Co. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include two sisters, Linda Esco and Brenda Esco, both of Winder; and a brother, Howard Cummings, Winder. Lillian M. Isom Hartwell Lillian McGee Harbin Isom, 88, of 15 Randall St. died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Isom was a daughter of the late John and Alice Johnson McGee and was married twice, first to the late Reece Harbin and then to the late Lonnie Isom. She was a retired presser for Bellcraft Manufacturing Co. and a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church. Services were Saturday at the church with the burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Al Harbin, Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Gladys Herndon, Hartwell; a granddaughter and a great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, Hart Co. Camp, P.O. Box 59, Hartwell, Ga. 30643. Strickland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. John M. Lumpkin Clarkesville John M. Lumpkin, 85, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Lumpkin was a son of the late Willie Wesley Lumpkin and Florrah Ethel Nix Lumpkin and was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Smith. He was a retired carpenter and member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tony Kemp and Donald Holbrook officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lucy K. Norris Lumpkin; two daughters, Emily Barr, Rockvale, Tenn., and Ann Kemp, Brookland, Mich.; a son, Larry Lumpkin, Clarkesville; two sisters, Violet Jones, Clarkesville, and Louise Hunkapillar, East Point; a brother, Grady Lumpkin, Chamblee; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Whitfield Funeral Home, Cornelia. William Dorsey Moon, 81, of 196 Hillcrest Loop died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Moon was a son of the late George Henry and Mattie Lou Yeargin Moon. He was a retired shipping clerk for LifeSprings, and a member of Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Georgia Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Services will be 4 p.m. today at Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Dr. A.D. Beacham Jr. and the Rev. Durant Driggers officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, South. Survivors include his wife, Euree Strickland Moon; a daughter, Gloria Witcher, Royston; a son, Gary W. Moon, Franklin Springs; stepmother, Velma Moon, Elberton; five sisters, Mary Scarborough, Mattie Lou Yeargin, and Mildred Slay, all of Elberton, Ruth Raborn, Jackson, S.C., and Corine Kinard, Greenwood, S.C.; five brothers, Elmer Moon, Anderson, S.C., J.E. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Brown's Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Revs. Stewart Lang and Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Austin Ray Morris; a daughter, Pam Rice, Hull; a son, Kem Morris, Comer; and four sisters, Helen Eckerd, Stockbridge, Margaret Crumley, Comer, and Betty Crumley and June Dean, both of Colbert; and six grandchildren. A native of Richmond County, Mrs. Nice was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Snellville, and of the Order of the Eastern Star. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Tim Stewart Funeral Home and graveside services will be 6 p.m. at the Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro. The Rev. Rick Markham will officiate.
