A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Brady was a son of the late Frank C. and Ella Mae Franklin Brady. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and was a member of Dacula First Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Killcrease Brady; two daughters, Brooksie Conner and Jennie Miller, both of Auburn; two sons, Lawson Brady, Cornelia, and James Brady, Auburn; two sisters, Doris Murphy, Loganville, and Mae Damie Adams, Dacula; four brothers, G.F. Sharon Colvard Elberton Sharon Yvonne Massey Colvard, 36, of 1834 Stones Throw Road, Rock Branch Community, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998. A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Colvard was a daughter of David Massey, Toccoa, and Blanche Lynn Tanner, Gainesville. She was employed in the textile industry in Calhoun Falls, S.C., and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hicks Funeral Home with the Revs. Earl Wilson and Ed Sayer officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, John F. Colvard; a son, Keel Smith, Elberton; a stepdaughter, Jamie Colvard, Elberton; a stepson, Justin Colvard, Elberton; and a brother, Danny Massey, Elberton. The family is at the home of Sherald and Betty Jo Colvard, 1571 Brewers Bridge Road. Deborah Cowan Colbert Deborah Lynn "Grammy" Cowan, 49, of 373 Madison Ave. died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Cowan was a daughter of the late James T. and Hilda Lydia Jackson Anderson. She was employed by Athens Insurers and was a member of the Madison County Council for the Arts, Madison County Democratic Party and The Sagan Society. She was campaign headquarter coordinator for Athens Democratic Party. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bridges Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Austin officiating. Survivors include her husband, Roger S. Cowan; three daughters, Amy Morgan and Stephanie Cowan, both of Colbert, and Laura Pieper, Athens; two sisters, Sara Anderson, Washington, D.C., and Beth Elzer, Athens; a brother, J.T. Grady Dearman Dewy Rose Grady Troy Dearman, 69, of 1800 Hewell Road died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998. A native of Ofuskee County, Okla., Mr. Dearman was a son of the late Marion Daniel and Fannie May Ferrell Dearman. he was a retired truck driver, having driven for Roses' Department Store for 17 years and later for Worley Brothers Granite Co. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean conflict, and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hicks Funeral Home with the Revs. Calvin Coile and Ted Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman.
