A native of Morgan County, Mr. Adkins was a son of the late Oscar Hunter and Minnie Mai Parrish Adkins and the widower of Amelia Blanchard Adkins. He was retired from Brooks Motor Co. and was a member of Crawford Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Mell Adkins, Greenville, and Tommy Adkins, Gainesville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Ardister Athens Clara M. Ardister, 90, of 1398 W. Hancock Ave. died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998. A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Ardister was a daughter of the late George and Sarah James Cofer. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Reese Chapel Baptist Church, Tignall, with the Rev. Michael Gresham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Lenora Bradford Athens Lenora Gertrude Morris Bradford, 63, of 250 Sartain Drive died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Bradford was a daughter of the late George and Amy Morris and the widow of James Bradford. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Callaway was a son of Robert Callaway Jr. and the late Annie Belle Evans Callaway. He graduated from Athens High and Industrial School in June 1954 and attended Morehouse College in Atlanta. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. DuBois Toccoa Charles Edward DuBois, 42, of Ridgecrest Drive died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998. A native of Elmira, N.Y., Mr. DuBois lived in Florida for a number of years prior to coming to Toccoa. He was a veteran, having served with the Marine Corps, and worked as a steward at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Memorial services will be later in Florida. A native of Folkston, Ms. Johnson was a daughter of the late Rev. W.S. Johnson and Elma Roberts Johnson. She attended Andrew College, graduated from the University of Georgia in home economics and received a master's degree in home economics from the University of Tennessee. She taught high school in Waverly Hall and Tennille and college at Auburn University, Oklahoma State University and the University of Georgia School of Home Economics. She was a member of Chipley Methodist Church in Pine Mountain. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pinehurst City Cemetery, Pinehurst, with the Rev. William Allen officiating. A native of Abbeville County, S.C., Mr. Jones was a son of the late Charlie H. and Ollie Hall Jones. He was twice married, first to the late Mary Adams Jones. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jones, and a grandson, Grant Ray Sanders. He was a retired rural letter carrier and a farmer. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, the Clenard Dyar Sunday School Class, Happy Harts and the inactive deacon board.
