Survivors include three sisters, Wanda Harrison, Oglethorpe County, Faye Carey, Royston, and Sadie Brown, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, Jimmy Beasley and Danny Beasley, both of Elberton, and Hank Beasley, Anderson, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. A native of Pleasantville, N.Y., Mrs. Bonnette was a daughter of the late Oscar and Matilda Gustafsson Johnson and was married to the late James L. Bonnette. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pleasantville, N.Y., and was retired from Readers Digest. John Walter Borinski Toccoa John Walter Borinski, 77, of 269 Dogwood Lane died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998. A native of West Point, Va., Mr. Borinski was a son of the late Walter and Mary Borinski. He lived in Baltimore for 52 years, was a tool and die maker, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Services will be 8 p.m. today at Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Greg Walton officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston Salem, N.C. Survivors include his wife, Judy S. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Burrell was a son of the late Cleveland Vick Sr. and Fannie Free Burrell. He served as the Habersham County Probate Judge from 1969 until he retired in 1985, was an army veteran of World War II, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7720, and a member of the Cornelia Rotary Club and Level Grove Baptist Church. A native of Pennsylvania, Mr. Faust was a graduate of Penn State University and received his masters and doctoral degrees in wood technology at the University of Georgia. He served as associate professor in the Warnell School of Forest Resources, where he was responsible for teaching and research in wood products. He was Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop No. 22, past chairman of the Southeast Section of the Forest Products Society, and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Georgia Forestry Association, and the American Society of Agricultural Engineers. She was a lifelong resident of Maxeys and longtime member of Maxeys Christian Church. She was retired from the Oglethorpe County School System as dietitian in 1971. Amory Swindel Hull George Amory Swindel Jr., 68, of 1674 Buford Carey Road died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998. A native of Madison County, Mr. Swindel was a son of Eva Swindel Bland of Hull and the late George A. (Hoke) Swindel Sr. He was a lifelong mechanic who owned and operated Swindels Garage. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where he served as an active elder and deacon and also past inactive deacon for 48 years. His hobbies included water dousing and motorcycle riding.
