A native of Nagvilian LaUnion, Philippines, Mr. Floresca was a son of the late Fransisco and Savine Rivera Floresca and the widower of Alice Doskocil Floresca. He was a retired cabinet craftsman. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Whitlock Mortuary with Drs. Lane Fordham and Andy Losier officiating. Burial will be in Roselane Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Diamond, Toccoa; a son, Robert Floresca, Wilmington, N.C.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Fowler was a son of the late Will and Ellie Chitwood Fowler and the widower of Mattie Evens Fowler and Ethel Davis Fowler. He was preceded in death by five children and was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Luther Williams and Newton Phillips officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Rogers and Bertha Cheek, both of Toccoa; three sons, Nish Fowler, John Fowler and Watson Fowler, all of Toccoa; two sisters, Annie Anderson and Realy Campbell, both of Toccoa; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-great-grandchild. Sandra Freeman Watkinsville Sandra Ruth Freeman, 29, of 1020 Dogwood Hill died Monday, Jan. 5, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Freeman was a daughter of Jimmy Moore of Nicholson and Mary Nell Stanley of Jefferson. She was an accountant and was currently employed with Arthur Andersen. She was a member of Classic City Community Church, where she had served as secretary for two years. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997, Summa Cum Laude, and was secretary of Beta Alpha Psi Sorority. He was a former owner and operator of Harris Furniture Co. and was a former chairman of the board of deacons at Madison Baptist Church, former president of Madison Kiwanis Club, Madison city councilman for three terms, mayor of Madison for two terms, former president of the Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Morgan County Foundation for the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center.
