Ms. Baker was a daughter of Mary Kathryn Stockton and Ronald Eugene Baker, both of Commerce. Her son, Billy Lee Sewell, also died Saturday, June 6, 1998. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Dry Pond Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Terry Chambers and Lee Smith officiating. Ms. Baker is survived by her parents. Ivie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Louise B. Boggs Athens Louise B. Boggs, 95, formerly of Atlanta, died Saturday, June 6, 1998. Widow of Lake S. Boggs D.D.S., Mrs. Boggs was a homemaker and a 1925 graduate of State Normal School, Athens. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, with the Rev. Grady Wigley officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Beth Randolph, Athens, and Janna Janes, Alpharetta; a sister, Elizabeth Brown, Union City; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Atlanta Chapter, is in charge of arrangements. E. Dale Dean Athens Dr. Dale Dean, 50, 101 Tawnyberry Drive died Sunday, June 7, 1998. Dr. Dean was a son of W.A. and Hilda Dean of Reform, Ala. An Army veteran, Dr. Dean had degrees from the University of Alabama, the University of West Florida and the University of Missouri. He was on staff at each of those institutions as well as at Middle Tennessee State University. He was, for a brief period, Tennessee's state coordinator for distributive education. For the past 11 years, he had been an instructor/administrator with Athens Area Technical Institute. His last assignment was as director of the Athens Tech satellite campus in Monroe. There will be no services. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Kim Dean; a daughter, Hannah Dean; a son, Briton Dean; parents-in-law, Dave and Delores Spence, Brentwood, Tenn.; three brothers and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Dale Dean Memorial Scholarship Fund at Athens Area Technical Institute. Memorials made on behalf of the children may be made to Timothy Road Elementary School or the World Wildlife Fund. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the residence. A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Greene was a daughter of the late Lewis Homer and Henrietta Sims Stewart and widow of Philip A. Greene. She was retired from the federal government in the Small Business Administration and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wade Lord officiating. Survivors include a sister, Willie Burden, Clemmons, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ernest G. Stewart, Toccoa; a stepsister-in-law, Mrs. Jimmie Lou Clark, Ellijay; and nieces and nephews. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Hendrick was a daughter of the late Fred B. and Clara Teasley Gaines and was the widow of Marion B. Hendrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman, with the Rev. Tim Gaines officiating. Survivors include four sons, James M. Hendrick, Hartwell, Melvin D. Hendrick, Royston, and J.T. Hendrick and Bobby D. Geneva Reynolds Elberton Geneva Fowler Reynolds, 74, died Sunday, June 7, 1998. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Reynolds was a daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie Childs Fowler and widow of Jones Columbus Reynolds. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Columbus Reynolds and Dallas Gerald Reynolds. She was a homemaker, a certified Holiness preacher and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Hicks Funeral Home with the Revs. Ralph Gaddy and Gilbert Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a retired bookkeeper and homemaker and a member of Maxeys Christian Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maxeys Christian Church with the Revs. Wayne Spangler and Harry Warren officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice V. and Orville Grissom, Anniston, Ala., and Betty V. and Pat W. Wynne Jr., Rayle; a brother, Lamar Nicholson, Clearwater, Fla.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
