Baggerly Fort Valley Annie Lee Lambert Baggerly, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998. A native of Decatur County, Mrs. Baggerly was married to the late Ralph L. Baggerly and was preceded in death by a son, Otis Baggerly. She was a housewife, a bookkeeper for nine years at Willis Lumber Co., Bainbridge, and a member of First Baptist Church, Bainbridge. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Burial will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Bainbridge. Survivors include three daughters, Merle Nichols, Macon, Emmie Grimes, Long Meadow, Mass., and Zadie King Peters, Athens; two sisters, Versie Spooner, Charlotte, N.C., and Lucy Tomlinson, Jacksonville, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Lucille Church Hoschton Lucille Church, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Church was a daughter of the late T.C. Langford Sr. and Molly Stone Langford and was married to the late Milton Church. She was a member of Hoschton Baptist Church and was retired from Scientific Atlanta. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. Ricky Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in Hoschton City Cemetery. Survivors include two sisters, Runette Evans, Hoschton, and Evelyn Thrasher, Mobile, Ala.; and a brother, Bob Langford, Hoschton. Dorothy McDonald Comer Dorothy Mae Wright McDonald, 57, of 1959 Comer Road died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998. A native of Arkansas, Mrs. McDonald was a daughter of the late Johnny Cecil and Wilma Wright and widow of Paul McDonald. She was a housewife and a member of Collier Baptist Church. Services were Sunday. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Johns and Paula Brown, both of Comer; a son, Michael Smith, Comer; six sisters, Estell Ebarb, Elsie Wright, Rudell Malone, Stella Wright and Charlene Sirman, all of Shreveport, La., and Sue Caraway, California; seven brothers, Floyd Wright and James Wright, both of Keithville, La., and Bud Wright, Lash Wright, Joe Wright, Dude Wright and Albert Wright, all of Shreveport, La.; and five grandchildren. Bernstein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. James G. Prickett Toccoa James Griffin Prickett, 91, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998. A native of Burwell, Mr. Prickett was a son of the late John Sanford and Permelia Hearn Prickett and was married to the late Mary Kimsey Prickett. He was a member of Toccoa First United Methodist Church, and a retired insurance agent, dairy farmer, and director of Hart County EMC. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Whitlock Mortuary. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Ernie Prickett, Atlanta, Johnny Prickett and Walter Prickett, both of Toccoa, and Jerry Prickett, Spartanburg, S.C.; and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Hoyt K. Smith Martin Hoyt K. Smith, 72, formerly of Lawrenceville, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998. A native Georgian, Mr. Smith retired from Big Star Supermarket after 40 years of service. He was a loving father and husband, a member of Mullins Ford Baptist Church in Martin, and a Mason. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Reverend Verlon Reese will officiate. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, in Lawrenceville. He is survived by his wife, Addie Smith, Martin, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Thurmond, Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughter, Vicky Smith, Stone Mtn.; sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Darlene Smith, Snellville, Ga., and Johnny E. and Darlene Smith, Tucker, Ga.; sisters, Vera Ray, Tucker, Ga., and Ruby Holcombe, McDonough, Ga.; and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Leon Goddard, Tucker, Ga. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 at the funeral home. Rachel Taylor Stephens Rachel Louise Marie Taylor, 15, of 187 Lower Wire Bridge Road died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998. A native of Marion, Ohio, Miss Taylor was a daughter of Franklyn Gomez Taylor Jr. of Marion and Vicki Barton Taylor Arthur of Stephens. She was a freshman at Oglethorpe High School. Burial will be in Brush Ridge Cemetery, Marion, Ohio. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her stepfather, Jay Arthur, Stephens; four sisters, Sandy Taylor, Stephens, Laura Honesto, Van Wert, Ohio, and Clarissa Fultz and Julie Arthur, both of Marion, Ohio; two brothers, Zeth Taylor, Marion, Ohio, and Joshua Arthur; paternal grandparents, Franklyn Taylor and Arlou Taylor, Marion, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Tivis Barton and Wanda Barton, Springfield, Ohio; paternal step-grandparents, Clyde Hall and Nina Hall, Stephens; and grandmother, Helen Cope, Cardington, Ohio. Howard Wilkes Madison Howard Wilkes, 51, of 1110 Plantation Road died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998. A native of Montgomery, Ala., Mr. Wilkes was a son of Nan Jeffcoat Wilkes and the late William Wilkes Sr. He was a construction contractor, served in Vietnam, and a member of Fort Benning Lodge. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Simmons Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Cagyle officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Almon Cemetery.
