A native of Greene County, Mr. Jones was a son of Louise T. Jones, Siloam, and the late William "Bill" Eugene Jones. An Army veteran, he was a truck driver for Frausto Trucking Co. and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Siloam Cemetery, Siloam, with the Revs. Lee Almy and Gary Nicholas officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence. McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro, is in charge of arrangements. Corra Miller Elberton Corra Jane Tate Miller, 87, of 1029 Hartwell Highway died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late O.E. and Carrie Mae Hudson Tate. She was retired from the granite manufacturing and quarry industry and a member of First Methodist Church, Stephen Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and Pilot Club of Elberton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. C.E. Jackson III officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Jane Miller, Elberton; a son, J. Cleve Miller, Elberton; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family is at the residence and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home. Collis Roach Sr. Royston Collis Roach, 85, of 1538 Georgia Highway 145 died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998. A native of Madison County, Mr. Roach was a son of the late William Roach and Myrtle Dean Roach Aaron. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Marshall A. Weir Masonic Lodge 448, Macon, and an Emeritus Scottish Rite Shriner. He was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, Men's Bible Class and Georgia Sheriff's Association. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Jones Chapel UMC with the Revs. Marvin Coffee and Vernon Dorminy officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Helen Harris Roach; two sons, C. Jimmy Roach Jr., Macon, and Michael L. Roach, Lavonia; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren. Weyman Toney Atlanta Weyman Lester Toney, 62, of 571 Linwood Ave. N.E. died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1998. A native of Watkinsville, Mr. Toney was a son of the late Foster L. and Allene Bowden Toney. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce, with the Rev. J.B. McNeil officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Toney; a son, Jeffrey Keith Toney, Atlanta; a sister, Doris Gooch, Braselton; five brothers, Alva Ray and Hollis Ray, both of Jefferson, Bernard Ray, Columbia, S.C., Earl Toney, Athens, and Louie Toney, Elberton; and two grandchildren. Wardell Wheeler Toccoa Wardell Wheeler, 76, of 210 Kyte St. died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Wheeler was a son of the late William and Ludie Faye Wheeler and was the widower of Lillie Bell Ruff Wheeler. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Karl Moore officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Alicia Wheeler and Rusena Anderson, both of Atlanta, and Annette Moss, Toccoa; four sons, James M. Wheeler and Patrick Wheeler, both of Atlanta, and Gartrell Wheeler and Wardell Wheeler, both of Toccoa; a brother, Hayes Mack, Toccoa; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
