Mr. Davis was a son of the late William Henry and Leila Page Davis. He was retired from Smith Hardware and also worked at Firestone. He was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Christian Church, Winder, a member of Winder Masonic Lodge 333 and a board member of the Northeast Georgia Council on Aging. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. John Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Corine Dalton Davis; two sons, Richard Davis, Birmingham, Ala., and Henry Davis, Mathews; a sister, Elizabeth Davis Nix, Jackson; two brothers, Page Davis, Walnut Grove, and Bob Davis, Ocala, Fla.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Barbara Dillard Toone, Tenn. Barbara Wilson Dillard, 51, formerly of Athens, died Sunday, May 10, 1998. A native of Athens, Mrs. Dillard was a daughter of Retha Self Wilson of Danielsville and the late C.W. Wilson. She was a restaurant cook and a member of Holiness Church, Athens. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Bolivar, Tenn. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Thomas Dillard; a daughter, Karen Colley, Athens; a son, Thomas Jeffrey Dillard, Kingsville, Texas; three sisters, Shirley Ivey, Woodstock, Doris Chambers, Hull, and Connie Edwards, Danielsville; two brothers, W.C. Wilson and Ronnie Wilson, both of Statham; and four grandchildren. Otis J. Foote Athens Otis Jean Foote, 57, of 115 Sartain Drive died Thursday, May 7, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Foote was a son of the late Johnny and Minnie Eberhart Foote. He was employed by Garrette Paving Co. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Grove Baptist Church, Winterville, with the Rev. James Washington officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Lucile Hooper Bogart Lucile Poole Hooper, 82, died Thursday, May 7, 1998. Mrs. Hooper was a daughter of the late Charlie B. and Nora K. Poole and was a widow of Clifford H. Hooper. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Hooper. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Bogart Baptist Church. Clinton Jolley Doraville Clinton Jefferson Jolley, 66, of Lake Drive died Sunday, May 10, 1998. A native of Lincoln County, Tenn., Mr. Jolley was a son of the late Alva Columbus and Vada Estelle Decker Jolley. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Jolley. He was a carpenter and a member of First Pentecostal Oneness of Arcade. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Thomas was a son of the late Will Howard Thomas Sr. and Lila Freeman. He was a graduate of Greensboro High School and a lifelong resident of Greene County. Mr. Thomas was a U.S. Navy veteran and the former owner and operator of Thomas & Thomas Logging. He was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Greensboro City Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. Survivors include his wife, Reba J. Thomas; a daughter, Laura McDonald Verner, Watkinsville; a son, Bill Thomas, Greensboro; a brother, George D. Thomas, Greensboro; and three grandchildren, Susan Thomas, Stuart Thomas and Jacob Thomas.
