A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Bobo was a daughter of the late Frank W. and Sally Williamson Darracott and widow of Ralph Graydon Bobo Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Tignall Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 am. Wednesday in Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Anne Henderson, Thomson, Jean Sayer, Lexington, and Carol Grooms, Carrollton; a son, Graydon Bobo Jr., Washington; two sisters, Katie Dyar and Mildred Barnett, both of Washington; and eight grandchildren. The family is at the home of Graydon Bobo Jr., 3657 Tignall Road, and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Hopkins Funeral Home. Betty I. Davis Auburn Betty I. Davis, 54, of 1329 Fourth Ave. died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998. A native of Gwinnett County, Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Oscar W. and Mattie Lou Parker Evans and widow of Bud Davis. She was a member of Ozora Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Wise-Connolly Funeral Home, Winder, with the Revs. Everest Carlisle and Joel Shadburn officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Davis and Denise Allen, both of Carl; a son, Ricky Davis, Auburn; two sisters, Alice Metcalf, Winder, and Eddie Walters, Lawrenceville; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Davis. Holly E. Giles Watkinsville Holly E. Giles, 30, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998. A native of Oconee County, Miss Giles was a daughter of A.S. "Bud" and Ann Butler Giles of Watkinsville. A graduate of Oconee High School and the University of Georgia, she was employed as an account manager with Zurich Insurance Co. in Atlanta, where she had resided for six years. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. David Perkins and Dr. Franklin Shumake officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a brother, Kenimer Giles, Davis, Calif.; a grandmother, Blanche J. Morris Gordon Commerce Morris Gordon, 58, of 292 Whitlock Road died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Gordon was a son of the late Hubert Arthur Gordon and Lee Lady Brown Gordon. He worked for Mount Vernon Mills and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Duncan officiating. Claude Hosea New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Claude Weldon Hosea, 82, of Conrad Drive, formerly of Toccoa, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Hosea was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church in Toccoa and Albert Pike Lodge 174 F&AM of Langley S.C. He was an Army veteran of World War II and later retired as a nurse after serving many years with Lynnwood Veteran's Hospital in Augusta. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Baldwin-Hughey Funeral Home, North Causeway. Burial with military honors will be in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. Vera Kinzey Athens Vera Gunn Kinzey, 78, of 155 N. Homewood Drive died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998. A native of McDuffie County, Mrs. Kinzey was a daughter of the late Lewis and Ruby Brown Gunn and widow of Robert Benjamin Kinzey Sr. She had a long career as an educator, both in Georgia public schools and at the University of Georgia, from which she retired in 1982 as an assistant professor in the College of Education. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Louis Satterwhite officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Anita Kinzey Sharpe, Athens; two sons, Robert B. Kinzey Jr. and Dennis W. Kinzey, both of Athens; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family is at the home of Anita Sharpe, 170 Valleywood Drive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Smith, and a son, Miles Smith. She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong educator having taught in Lavonia Elementary School of the Franklin County school system. She was a member of Lavonia First United Methodist Church.
