A native of Clarke County, Mr. Green was a son of the late Theodore Emmitt and Pearl Mintz Green. He was employed by Lanier Gardens. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Claudia H. Green; a daughter, Angela Green, Ila; and a son, Stephen Green, Hull. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Josephine F. Jennings Spring, Texas Josephine Frances Jennings, 84, of 150 Sharon Circle died Saturday, July 11, 1998. A native of Fayetteville, Ark., Mrs. Jennings was a daughter of the late William O. and Jessie Crider Dritt, and was the widow of Troy S. Jennings. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and furthered her education at the University of Arkansas where she received a bachelors degree in education in 1936. She taught in the Wynne, Ark., public school system where she retired. She was a member of First Christian Church in Fayetteville, Ark., the Retired Teachers Association, the University of Arkansas Alumni Association, and the Woodlands Christian Church in Woodlands, Texas. She enjoyed reading, walking, watching sports, and various church activities. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Fayetteville, Ark., with the Revs. James Johnson and David Emery officiating. Burial will be in the Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Ark. Survivors include three daughters, Frances Vigna, Russell, Ky., Betty Caton, Athens, and Mary Bolen, Lawrenceville; two sons, Troy Joe Jennings, Fort Myers, Fla., and Bill Jennings, Spring, Texas; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson's Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ark. Bridges Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Anne Moore Warner Robins Anne "Sara" Moore, 71, of 134 Hidden Creek Circle, died Sunday, July 12, 1998. A native of Lexington, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Phillip and Sally Patton, and was a widow of Jack B. Moore. She was a homemaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, Athens. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McCullough Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Campbell and Kelvin Daniels officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery, Greensboro. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Floyd, Cochran, Sherri Moore, Warner Robins, and Glenda Thomas, Roberta; three sons, Donald Moore, Athens, Phil Moore, Milton, Fla., and Steve Moore, Warner Robins; two brothers, Dorsey Patton, Athens, and Robert Patton, Green County; and 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A native of Greens County, Ms. Parks was a daughter of the late Willie James and Florine Parks. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Grady Lawrence officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Dean Parks and Josephine Parks, both of Greensboro; three brothers, Melvin Parks, Johnny Parks, and Willie Lee Parks, all of Greensboro; and a granddaughter and nieces and nephews. Madeline Smith Bogart Madeline "Maddy" Faustine Smith, 7, of 104 Falcon Court, died Friday, July 10, 1998. A native of Wooster, Ohio, Miss Smith was a daughter of Sandra Lee Finch and Gerald Lekan. She had just completed 1st grade at Whit-Davis Elementary School. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve, Ohio. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her maternal grandparents, Steve and Dawn Finch, Shreve, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Linda Lekan, Parma, Ohio; maternal great-grandparents, Calvin and Ruth Houghton, Federalsburg, Mass., and Jim and Doris Finch, Hamilton, Ohio; and paternal great-grandmother, Josephine Lekan, Parma, Ohio. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Lillie Whitlow Carnesville Lillie Casey Whitlow, 94, of 15790 Highway 59, died Saturday, July 11, 1998. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Whitlow was a daughter of the late John B. and Lula Starrett Casey, and was a widow of Duard Boyd Whitlow. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Red Hill Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 417. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and the Winsom Sunday school class. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ginn Funeral Home with Clarence Davis and the Revs. Michael Bell and Arthur Cardin officiating.
