Crowe Decatur Felton V. Crowe, 84, died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998. Mr. Crowe was the owner and operator of Crowe Manufacturing for 38 years and a member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church. Services will be 2 p.m. today at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Louise K. Crowe; a daughter, Kathy Ballar, Norcross; a son, John Crowe, Lilburn; two sisters, Pat Norris and Nina Dickens, both of Bogart; two brothers, Ted Crowe, Athens, and Dorsey Crowe, Bogart; and six grandchildren. Timothy Fitzgerald Royston OS2 Timothy James Fitzgerald, 40, of 1834 Old Elbert Road died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, A native of Chicago, Mr. Fitzgerald was a son of Josephine Fitzgerald, Chicago, and the late John Fitzgerald. He was on active duty in the Navy and stationed in Maryland. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Rose Hill Cemetery with full military rites. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Pam Fisher Fitzgerald; a daughter, Carrie Lynn Fitzgerald, Royston; two sons, James O'Neal, Lavonia, and Toby Jay Fitzgerald, Royston; a stepdaughter, Tina Brown, Boulder Creek, Calif.; three brothers, Lewis Purna, Libertyville, Ill., Allen Fitzgerald, Alabama, and John Fitzgerald, Hawaii; and four grandchildren. The family is at the residence and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Pruitte Funeral Home. Linda Philyaw Fleeman Elberton Linda Philyaw Fleeman, 51, of 1772 Highway 368 died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998. A native of Anderson, S.C., Mrs. Fleeman was the daughter of the late William Philyaw and Mildred Smith Philyaw Coker. She was co-owner of B & G Granite Co. and Fleeman Granite Co., and member of the First Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday School Class. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Fenlon officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Gene Fleeman; four sons, John Frank Morris, Michael Fleeman, Jamie Fleeman, and William Fleeman, all of Elberton; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Ardister, Chris Norton, Harry Floyd, Steve Childs, Kevin Fields and Steve Howe. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Ray Metcalf Athens Ray Metcalf, 85, of 700 Harve Mathis Road died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998. A native of Forsyth County, Mr. Metcalf was a son of the late Nora Baker and Jimmy Metcalf. He was a farmer and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Services will be 4 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Elmer Butler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Donnie Worley Metcalf; two daughters, Bonnie Hanley, Hull, and Doris Morris, Athens; a son, Herbert Metcalf, Athens; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family is at the residence. Jeanette Mosley Flowery Branch Jeanette Stinchcomb Mosley, 63, died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998. A native of Barrow County, Mrs. Mosley was a daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Mae Brumbalow Stinchcomb. She was a homemaker. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Mosley; a daughter, Anita Shaw, Nicholson; a son, Thomas Franklin Mosley, Flowery Branch; three sisters, Julia Jones, Auburn, Frances Simmons, Jefferson, and Mae Jenkins, Rutledge; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
