Warren Road died Tuesday, April 14, 1998. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mr. Anspach was a son of the late Francis Marrion and Vera Almyra Matherson Anspach. He was a retired civil service employee and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Cornelia Lodge 92 F&AM and Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Atlanta. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Whitfield Funeral Home, Baldwin, with the Revs. Paul Morris and Ernest Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Hoyt Tench officiating and full Masonic honors by Cornelia Lodge 92 F&AM. Asbury, 85, of 313 McGuire St. died Saturday, April 11, 1998. A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Asbury was widower of Lucy Asbury. A World War II veteran, he was a retired railroad oiler and a member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. A native of Fulton County, Mr. Austin was a son of Annie Belle Morris Austin of Winder and the late William Ralph Austin. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Booth was a daughter of the late George Talmadge and Lavinia Lugand Mygatt and was the widow of Robert Grady Booth Sr. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Carlton Booth and Robert G. Booth Jr. She was a member of Bogart First Baptist Church and a former member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Pittman Cemetery, Sanford Community, with the Rev. Randy Strickland officiating. A native of Elbert County, Ms. Denman was a daughter of Colleen Tucker Denman of Hartwell and the late George Deloan Denman. She was a certified surgical technician for Good Samaritan Hospital, a former surgical supervisor at Clemson University Interdisciplinary Studies and a member of the Society of Surgical Technology and New Prospect Baptist Church, Hartwell. A native of Aiken County, Mr. Holmes was a retired teacher and coach, having taught in public schools in Georgia and South Carolina for more than 45 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Trenton, S.C., Hill Street Baptist Church, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Shriners and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
